Here's the problem. Your post in inadequate for a 0.4 server. As of 0.4, Minetest is a game revolved around mods, which you make no mention of which mods you use if any. If you're server was a cereal box, it would be a plain brown box with just a name with no indication of what's inside. (besides it...

I hate how ores don't touch each other. In minecraft, if I find one ore I've found all the ore in that small deposite of like 3-5 ore. In minetest, I have to dig blindly around the area I found the one ore and hope there's more ore there.

I just realized something pretty cool. When chests are moved, all their items are deleted. And with a button you can make an easy way to get rid of excess blocks like dirt and cobble without having to make a bunch of chests to fill them up with. So if you can fix the bug without doing option 1 or 4 ...

I figured I'd report a bug! Ain't that just the grandest? How To Shut Down Minetest Ingame! 1. Attach a blinky plant thingy with a mesecon thingy to a sticky piston thingy. 2. Place a Chest thingy infront of the sticky piston thingy and open the chest thingy. 3. Wait for the sticky piston to move th...

Redstone is actually a part of the block above the one they are attached too.

I had some troubles with the client, it didn't want to load me placing items, so I only got a tunnel built. If you can, I would love for you to come and help, because I can make nice ladder jump towers, but that's about all I'm good at...... I don't know when I'll be able to do that. I'm currently ...

First Attempt At a Custom Map

Hi! I've made a custom map that I'd like to share. It's my first one I've ever done and probably one of the first for Minetest. I play both Minetest and Minecraft a lot. One of my favorite things to do on minecraft is play custom maps like survival maps, parkour maps, puzzle maps, and my favorite Ad...

After watching videos of people playing challenge maps on Minecraft, I thought that it would be nice to be able to do the same thing in Minetest. Right now the only way to keep 1 map without having to swap them out is by having multiple installs. I think this would open lots of possibilities, such ...

Mods and the Wiki

I just have one question (well, I have many questions but this one is the most important one). How do mods fit into the wiki? What I mean is will mods be treated the same as official features (like add new items and crafting recipes to the wiki from mods), or will the wiki have to be reorganized? An...

There are natural cave systems but I think are connected to the other caves that lead to the surface. These new caves are too narrow and are difficult to move around in without flying. I loved the terrain maker they had before the release in July. They had the most beautiful mountains and caves. I ...
