Nice job :D Maybe there should be rarely generated hallucinogenic fruits that enable this shader when you eat them. ;) Yes! plus it could effect the player controls so it would cause the player to stagger around, man if they where added I would so have to add depth of field to this shader haha. Als...

I also think hardcoded models will work better, although if external models are used then I think they should be made up in parts so that we can cut off peoples arms and legs! >_<

Whenever I get truncated posts (see the other thread ), I can click the back button in my browser -- I use firefox, but that shouldn't matter -- and the original text is still there, so I can copy it somewhere safe and then edit my post. Also, you forget chrome does too. All modern browsers do lol ...

I'm sure I have(I use port 80 opened) and it is not working You probably won't be able to use port 80 without some tinkering as by default its reserved for hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP). Your best just opening the default MT port (30000) you will have to open this in your firewall rules, or ju...

The TNT doesn't currently explode however, there is a patch on the patchsets page that fixes that. You can find it here: http://c55.me/minetest/wiki/doku.php?id=patchsets&#ready_for_review

Unfortunately I don't think it does actually damage mobs though >_<

It might also be useful to use a honey pot technique where you add a couple of hidden input fields on the reply code that a normal user would never see or never fill in and then check server side if these fields have any data in them, if so block as it is a spam bot. Bots will normally fill in all f...

I've been playing around with Kahrl's shader branch and made a disco shader ^_^ admittedly I don't know anything about writing shaders I was just messing around with it lol. http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/7085/screenshot13192153.png The ground colour changes as you move/look around.

You could use the leaves as a fuel in the furnace ^_^ or like neko259 said get the leaf decay mod. With regards to there not being more mods in the default game this is because the modding system is still being worked on and celeron55 has stated that his current goals are to get the main game workin...

Who created 'blocks' page? There are nodes in minetest, and block is 16x16x16 nodes. iirc Celeron55 said in IRC that the nodes should be changed to blocks as the wording is more generic for people coming over from MC, but...I may have just made all that up in my head haha so yeah Jordan will have t...

Bugged on the latest version :( The game shuts when you shot... hmmm, Works for me on the latest build. What does your debug.txt say? EDIT: @Jeija I did a bit of cleaning on this mod as there was still some output strings that where formatted the old way, not that it caused any problems just though...

Awesome ^_^ MT really needs more styles of trees it gets a little boring just staring at box looking trees. It would be nice to see some different type of trees too if possible some ideas: birch, oak, pine, beech. Just some ideas ^_^ Btw does/will this mod also work with jungle trees? if so any plan...

See I agree with what kahrl says it would make the survival mode way too easy, if all you want todo is build grand structures then why not just go and play on creative mode, that way resources wouldn't be a problem. However, if something like this was to be added to the survival mode then I think it...

I've added a simple fullscreen support patch to the patchsets page, however, I have heard talks of fullscreen support in IRC so it may be in the works.

If you want to use my simple fullscreen patch it can be found here: http://c55.me/minetest/wiki/doku.php?id=patchsets&#ready_for_review

Doors are not in the vanilla Minetest as the collision system would need some changes to be able todo this.

I think kahrl's collision patch (that is yet to be merged upstream) will allow a mod developer to add MC style doors.

ironzorg made a villages mod a while ago which would randomly generate buildings around the world, maybe you could use this and then once you find a little house setup camp and get to work on your mansion.

The mod can be found here: http://c55.me/minetest/forum/viewtopic.php?id=557

Questions Do plugs/inverter/sockets work vertically? Also, does it have to be an "air" node? If no to the 2nd question, why does it not work when there's water between? Not sure about them working vertically, but yes it has to be an air node between them (at least it was the if statements might hav...

Is the changelog page needed on the wiki? currently there is no actual changelog to go off when adding to that page well other than github, This page could be quite useful I guess but will require a lot of work to keep it up to date and may just be more effort than its actually worth? What sfan5 linked above was done quite some time ago but was never accepted upstream as celeron55 didn't like the approach taken in that patch. iirc it caused to much lag on older hardware. Emm, why not make it optional with option in menu and config? Don't know, I may be wrong you would have to as...

If you're compiling the game from git, you can checkout the "randomstuff" or "soundhacks" branches to see what has been done so far. These are not the up to date sound stuff, you can find the sound branch here: https://github.com/Oblomov/minetest/commits/sound It works as it is now, but still needs...
