that looks great, but could you please move your code into a repository like git or hg so it would be easier to update your mod for a server-admin.

guys, lets not forget: this is minetest! EVERYTHING is optional, just delete the folder minetest_game/mods/bones and you are done :D

I have votet YES because minetest is (to be honest) quite boring right now, we need a bit of a challenge!

maybee you could count the number of leaves in an average tree and then spawn a falling sapling-node with a probability of 1/(avgLeaveCount-1), the other saplings would still be dropped.
