Re: Crevis - A Minetest Fork

Perhaps this has already been addressed, but it's not wrong to make money off of a Minetest fork, or even Minetest. Minetest is Free Software under the GNU LGPL, and one of the four essential freedoms is to redistribute modifications (or verbatim) copies gratis or for money. However, your fork must...

Re: [Android] Minetest for Android

Not bad for a Android port. However, i have to appoint some details: *NVIDIA Shield, OUYA, M.O.J.O. and Gamepad users: DO NOT DOWNLOAD/BUY IT. It doesn't have a gamepad support and i don't recommend to use gamepad mappers, which will be hard to write texts on the gamepad. *Keyboard is compatible, w...

You should probably add another RAM in that. It will probably be *very* cheap.

Re: [MOD] Hcars [car]

Sorry to be rude, but are those models yours? Or available as a free culture license (CC-BY-SA, etc)? You also need to list your license on code explicitly.

Re: [Android] Builds for ARM, x86 and MIPS

Seems to work well on; Nabi 2: 4x1.3Ghz, GeForce, 1GB, 1024x600 but needs inventory_image_hack = true and RCA Apollo 8: 4x1.4Ghz, Mali-400, 1GB, 720x480 when logging into a mostly vanilla server, but they crash when entering our family server, I may have to trim some mods, or hopefully its just one...

Re: [Android] Builds for ARM, x86 and MIPS

What’s the minimum requirements for installing Minetest on Android? I have a very old and unused Android tablet running a rooted Android 2.2 on an ARM Cortex-A8. When I try to install it (selecting the APK in a file manager and select “Package Manager”) it says “Parsing error” and won’t let me inst...

Re: Newcomer: some info

That is, everything blows up is gonna be lost? No! Nobody said that. The blown-up blocks just don’t wander into your inventory automatically. It does not follow that the items are also lost. In the default game (“minetest_game”), some blocks are actually completely destroyed, and some other blocks ...

Re: [0.4.11] Node highlighting

8.1 does not agree with my Xubuntu installation. But I kind of like 8.1 more than Xubuntu anyway (partly because Xubuntu's drivers for my wifi card suck, and I need to recompile it everytime there is an update. Now, it won't even boot up because the dang drivers got corrupted or something)

Re: help learning the game.

Oh, and sorry, Minetest has no built-in tutorial right now. Hey spamyak! You sound like a huge asshole, and I appreciate it. We need more assholes like you. Re: help learning the game.

*opens up minetest for android* hmm... That upside down house thing might be the inverted triangle (on smaller devices) to the left of the squiggy circle (jump button). If so, then the triangle/house button is the Shift key on Minetest PC, which is Sneak . Sneak makes you walk slower, and prevents y...
