Lamp duplication: Place lamp, break lamp and place again. I tried to perform these movements as fast as possible (in creative mode and survival), but I could not duplicate the bulbs. The crash happened again, only when I placed a torch though. https://forum.minetest.net/download/file.php?id=12050 Fixed, thanks for reporting. As well as lamp duplication... They then both deleted themselves along with one of my one-hundred and fifty torches, hopefully this has been helpful Sorry,...

Okay, finaly. 0.5.0-alpha version pre-released!
tests are being performed on the minemacro server.
- Added all torch sounds
- Oil Lamp nodebox improved
- Added lighting system

Torches handheld light is a bit laggy for me. The trick to keeping the environment lit is a bit problematic, it's possible that the problem continues, I've tried to make it a little softer, but I do not have any reliable tests that confirm this. is the handheld light better than the one in Torches?...

You are probably using the minetest.register_on_chat_message and return true, which means that it will not be sent to other players. In the 0.4.16 minetest version this prevents appearing on the chat players.

But this force the cheater player to approach to the ore. Otherwise, it can view the ore at a much greater distance.

I added an option to put ores only at the surface of rock, making them visible in caves. It's not spectacular with the regular caves, except when you hit a big one. Just a suggestion. Maybe light is needed for the block to be placed. I don't understand. Are you saying that ores should only be place...
