That is just weird. Is there no way you could upgrade to a more modern version of xubuntu now that 14.04 came out recently? Otherwise, you might want to try asking the question in a seperate topic or in the minetest IRC as it isn't exactly connected to mesecons. Do you have some kind of RAM shortage...

This mod is still developed and should work with the latest minetest versions - I run it every day with the latest minetest version from GitHub. Actually, there is just very few things to be done in this mod. The mod is pretty much complete as it is and I only know few bugs. I don't want to add more...

I was also planning to make something similar once this gets merged, now you were faster... It would be safer than the current system because URL request would be reported.
