Re: [Server] VanessaE's Survival Server [5.4.0]
Bags are still there, they're just hidden/inaccessible because the inventory defaults to lite mode, that's all. You just need the ui_full privilege, to switch your inventory to full-size mode. As someone said in the chat, full mode might not work on mobile devices, but since you wanted it, you now h...

Re: [mod] Biome library [git][biome_lib]
I highly advise all users update to the latest available release of this mod (as of early today, that'll be commit 531577af ). Critical bugfixes! Turns out there's an engine bug, the effect of which has gone unnoticed for a very long time, perhaps because this mod's performance wasn't so great in th...

Build #20210407-0150, updated biomelib, plantlife, pipeworks, unified inventory, ambience, gloopblocks, and homedecor. I strongly recommend everyone update, as this contains important bugfixes! See https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=12999&p=393075#p393075 for more info. Edit: bu...

1. There aren't many ways to deal with overflow, really. One way is simply more chests connected to the injector's outlet. Another is a trash can connected to the tube that's connected immediately adjacent to the node that's overflowing. Items being rejected by that node will end up in the trash. Or...

I requested but wasn't granted access to your file (or didn't get any email confirming it). Perhaps you've marked it private or something? You can just attach your skin to a post in here. As for illumination, walking lights tend to be laggy, as they have to repeatedly set and remove an actual node l...

Re: [mod] Biome library [git][biome_lib]
In fact, I had hoped I'd be able to use that API.
As for lag, try the latest biome_lib in git. I thought it was decent already, but this should be MUCH better (in short: generation is now broken down into much smaller steps, to better spread the load).

It isn't fixable. It's an engine/client bug, or a glitch in irrlicht. Copy/paste has been variously broken in Minetest for its entire existence. :-P

Re: [Modpack] Home Decor [git] [homedecor_modpack]
There is code to allow sitting, but it's only used with the lrfurn sofas and chairs in homedecor_seating , not on any of the other kinds of seating. It's on my TODO but I haven't looked into it yet, so I don't know if the sitting height, position, and facing direction are variable in that code (they...

The "roads thingy" I assume means the one in Dreambuilder? That is cheapie's mod, but I'm sure she'd be happy to accept contributions. Its upstream is at https://cheapiesystems.com/git/roads/ . As for the mesecons switch, it's sufficient to check for the presence of the mod containing it, ...

Re: [Mod] Advanced Trains [advtrains] [2.2.1]
Using the master branch, at commit 5d372b1c . Running under Minetest 5.4.0 with Dreambuilder game (which is basically minetest_game with a metric assload of mods). Other trains mods installed: basic_trains , disco_trains , minetest-moretrains . The main advtrains mod is missing a dependency on mesec...

Re: [game] Dreambuilder [20210325-1929]
Ok, I think it's had enough time to "gestate" on my public servers, and no one but me has any gripes :-) , so it's time to spin a new stable release! Build #20210325-1929 is available. This build firms-up the theming features and extends that to more of the game's mods (there's still a way...

There is code in place to allow for sleeping if I recall right. Problem is, HD's beds used minetest_game's default beds' sleeping code, but it just wouldn't behave, so that feature was disabled.
If someone can figure it out and make them work reliably, I welcome it.

Re: [game] Dreambuilder [20210302-0653]
Well at this point I'm mostly satisfied with the new theming engine, if you can call it that. I've made it possible to install new themes: just download and install a Dreambuilder theme mod, enable it in your world config like any other mod, then go into the game settings and set dreambuilder_theme ...

Re: HDX Textures (64 - 512 px) [git rolling release]
The 64px size should work okay on older mobiles, but I wouldn't go above 128px even on a modern device. It depends, too, on what all you're running -- that is, what game and what mods (or what the server is using), since that'll determine how much of HDX is actually put into use. At 256px, Minetest ...

Just google for a standard 4x arms skin as might be found on any Minecraft or Minetest related site, and give me or any admin the link to the page the describes that one skin. Someone will install it for you.

Re: [Mod] Unified Inventory [git][unified_inventory]
Migrating is spelled out in the Minetest lua_api.txt, but it just boils down to adjusting a bunch of coordinates to account for differences in scaling. Any mod that isn't adapted will simply display wrong but will otherwise probably still work.

Re: [Mod] Unified Inventory [git][unified_inventory]
Ok, the new formspec v4 code (which broke things for you, ronoaldo ;-) ) is now released on the Unified Inventory master branch and the Content Store. With this change, Unified Inventory now requires Minetest v5.4.0 or newer. If you find your mods don't work/display properly with it, wait for update...

Re: [Mod] Pipeworks [git] [pipeworks]
Pipes were never used for this. You need to use tubes. LV grinders may have been able to connect to a tube at one time, but they don't now. That's a Technic mod thing, probably a change the Technic devs made for gameplay sake. However, MV grinders will connect just fine. Also Dreambuilder is a game,...

No, it isn't. Far too big for the content store. It's easy enough to grab it from Gitlab though. :-)

Re: [Mod] Unified Inventory [git][unified_inventory]
You're seeing a work-in-progress rewrite from my formspec_v4 branch of the source code repository, which was not supposed to be part of any official release yet. I guess you got this from the Content Store, which pulled from the wrong branch. Please try updating, I think it's fixed now. That aside, ...
