Of course you may use the hoe, but you can use my mod too ;-)
I'm going to add some other crops soon. I intended it to be a base for either improove baking mod or write a new one.

Hello Farming mod adds farming as in minecraft. You can convert dirt/grass nodes into plowed land and plant seeds. Seeds will grow while beeing in full sunlight and finaly get harvestable.
