What mods do you have installed? I would like to know please. Do you have the protectors mod installed? Thank you 0gb.us. - king We have everything in 0gb.us_game, which includes everything that's usable in common. For example, we don't have wool, because there's no way to get wool even if it is in...

It has been asked that I announce that we will be moving the spawn point to a distant land, to open up the spawn area to new buildings.

However, this isn't in the near future, as I have much to finish first.

Hmm. Just a possibility to keep things relatively simple: Make a mod that saves and loads inventory to/from a world-neutral directory (which could be a network share, BTW). Run one server per world in the "dimension set". Add an API call that tells the client what server to switch to. For...

No worries. I was interested in a hypothetical way, but I don't think I have the resources to run multiple dimensions on my server.

Howdy ya'll; I noticed 0.4.6 is out. I'm debating on whether I should update my server- and I need your help to decide. Yes, there are plenty of shiny new things. There's also now four downloads , a new damage system, LUAJit. A mixed bag for sure. I also heard that it's lighter on the resources. Sh...

challenge accepted https://github.com/minetest/minetest/pull/599 This might be useful if we have different sets of games that rely on different sets of common mods; say, a couple classic Minetest variations and a couple Minecraft clones. ... There's an issue with the .deb packages lately anyway, don't use them. Until that's fixed, compiling it yourself is better.

The server list doesn't work in this build, but the build works well otherwise. From what I hear from PilzAdam, that's because Windows uses non-standard line endings. Windows uses \r\n, where most operating systems (as far as I know, ALL operating systems besides Windows and Mac OS versions older t...

eh the real problem is the bucket. could you have landclaim protect against placing lava and water with right click. Ah. That's due to an update in Minetest. In 0.4.3, when I wrote this, we used on_use(). Now in 0.4.6, it's on_place(). That oversight is completely my bad. Well, I'll edit the server...

I think the problem is that windows writes "\r\n" at the end of files instead of only "\n". This causes problems when reading the file.
I see an easy solution.

It's own. That could be cool for a lot of things then. Assuming a computer with a lot of RAM, you could have a dimension for a world that emulates each version of Minetest, or a dimension for different styles of mapgen, such as a flat world, a cave world, a regular world, et cetera. Each should hav...
