Yeah, I will just leave it as it is. Hopefully when the devs make knockback an official thing it will be less jerky.

Already tried that and it has barely any effect at all. If I set it to 0 it makes the player go under the ground by a block.

I’m trying to make a better pvp mod. Does the engine allow for holding rightclick while holding an item? I won’t be rightclicking a block, just the air and holding it down to “block” with the sword. setting dir.y to 0 has no effect. Also, it is set to 0 by default when you get the mod.

It is a mesecon trap. You step on the pressure plate and pistons move a block down and under, so puliing it out of sight and putting it back once you step off the plate.

If it is a modpack with multiple mods inside make sure there is a modpack.txt file. If this is the case you will usually get

make it so the mesecon doorbell is its own mod, contained inside the main mod as a modpack. Then, set the mesecons mod as a dependency in the mesecon doorbell.

I've heard there is a now function called set_rotation for entities and such. Does this mean we will finally get mob hitboxes that actually fit the mob because now the slection box/hitbox does not have to be a box because it can rotate?

Does the map work even though it isn’t connecting to the mod? Your trying to use the bridge mod meaning the mod connects to the mapserver but the mapserver will still work (without showing players) even without the mod. Also make sure the mapserver is running. Try adding the mapserver md to your server then make sure it’s in active mod and not passive.
