i went to see things being developed for this game and i looked at dynamic light..and the first thing i see is "Not good for inclusion yet because the approach to dynamic light kills performance on low-spec hardware." whyy?? why cant you guys include this for the unstable version...its a g...

somebody should make it so that only the external faces of the glass are textured..if this is how normal blocks are ..this should be fixed to show external faces only!

A) is the old version with none of the new features (guys the daily/unstable is stable to just release it as stable )
B) is crashy

HEY some body should..like fix the WINDOWS version..of daily..on a WINDOWS computer..so they know it works! so we wont have these HORRIBLE ISSUES with the game on windows lol

Secondary running programms could do that job. Such a feature would only slow down the software itself on low end machines. so what?! have the choice to turn it off or not..you have to make it work before you can say it doesnt work..and this game barely runs on low end machines anyway..like my pcs ...

Try to mine blocks, switching blocks to mine very often (you won't successfully mine any block - but you will draw a lot of breaking animations) - It will reduce FPS a lot. There is a value in minetest.conf.example called "client_unload_unused_data_timeout = 600". Try adding it to your minetest.conf and setting it to something like 5. Anything below 5 caused the game to blink annoyingly when I tried it however. thank you for that!! but this should be lowered...

i've noticed that when you place glass ..it loads the textures of the sides too...could you make this not happen? like only show visible vertices? that would probobly make the game a little faster too! because it wont have to load as many textures..

mine carts are great and all..but could you make drivable trains..maybe steam trains..that run on coal? and the tender box could be a 6x6 box that can hold coal and wood only..also there could be chest cars..and box cars..that maybe one specific type of car holds a specific item? like refridgerator ...

it would be cool if we could have a folder that holds songs like .wavs and ogg's ...and a juke box that we can right click to select a song ..or internet radio stations that are preset and can be changed..and for servers..each persons juke box songs could be uploaded to a juke box folder on the serv...

You can run in minetest. Just enable fast_move by pressing "j", then hold down "e" while walking normally. But be careful, this makes you go so fast that you take fall damage on even a really shallow hill. no i mean real running! lol not like that ..like at a normal running spee...
