Go to Minetest/fonts/ and swap the font file with the one you prefer and rename them liberationmono and liberationsan. That's the only real way to do it I feel. You dont need to change filenames, just change the according settings in minetest.conf to point to the new files (see minetest.conf.exampl...

The future mapgen V7 is intended to have 3 types of definable realms: sky realm, surface and underworld, but these are meant to be reachable physically. It's an excellent idea to have horizontal dividers that could seal off the realms in the realm stack that are meant to be other dimensions only re...

'settime' is a priv that allows the use of the command '/time'. The parameter to '/time' is the hour * 1000, so for noon you would use '/time 12000'. Dawn (it starts getting light) is 5000, and full daylight begins at 6000. To make the time stay at whatever you set it to, use '/set time_speed 0' to...

/settime?
What does it do exactly? I thought it would set the time to whatever so that it could stay day for as long as I want, but using it says the Invalid command.

What do you see in Minetest 1.0?
Just a general question for the community. Sort of like saying "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" this is a question based on Minetest and what you believe it'll be like once it reaches 1.0. If you can't really estimate what it'll be like by then, what would you dream it'll be like? N...

Wouldn't it possible to have a Player model with a Cape already attached and animated, but with two defferant textures. The Player model only will have .PNG for itself, and the cape will have its own .PNG which perhaps mods be made to change it from a .PNG with no pixels (Invisible=no cape) to a .PN...
I like it so far, have only been to the first upper island so far and then I died. I didn't know about the lava in the lower island and put wooden pallets around the base. Since everything was basically connected by them, everything went up and I fell off the island and died. I think you should hav...

I just finished this dungeon plan. Granted, it's built above ground and over the water (hyuck) but I think it's all good. So check out the sample if you like. It's best to play this at night to get a good feel of underground and grab a few torches from /giveme or creative. http://ubuntuone.com/7iqjF...

It is pretty easy to make the formspec, but making it functional is another thing entirely. You would need to make an api for making potion recipes, and the potions themselves, as well as making the brewing actually work. That's what I was worried about. Thanks for feedback though. Perhaps in a fut...

I was wondering if anyone can give an understandable guide on creating a Brewing Screen. I had a plan to make a Cauldron mod with a brewing system that requires 4 items, 1 item is a bottle of water and the other 3 are various items as recipes. This is the kind of screen I was hoping to build. http:...
