You can also revoke his build privileges and ban him at the same time. It's safe until he makes a new account. Also: do you play on kray's server? Would you like some privileges to ban them? Not on any other servers. Just getting a feel of minetest on an open server to see things there and observe....

I think his taunts were all the TROLL be also was part of his actions. A TROLL is more than just talk. The actions are part of a same problem. Lack of sense of playing fairly. 'Griefer' is hardly a title worth giving. PK'ing (Player Killer) Vandal. Thief... it's all the same BAD game play and there ...

Actually the Wii is Gamecube U ... or a suped up Gamecube. So programming for the Wii is programming gamecube. My point was that mapping functions for both controllers is important. A button is ' A ' no matter if you have a Wiimote or Gamecube controller. It would be MORE work to have 2 seperate or ...

I don't think that that map for gamecube would translate well for the Wiimote. Wii Programing Tutorial - Controller Input I would map A for action (Left click) B for Build (right click) since these are the primary functions for Minetest and A/B are the primary buttons on both controllers. Z works fo...

Well the link I post talks about controls. In fact, their technic is to get it to work on Gamecube emulator first. The DEVKITPRO which they recommend also has kits for PSP and DS. It's a question of time and experience. Obvoiusly since Wiimote is a pointing device much like the mouse. It's mapping k...

Minetest for consoles? Programming for the Wii
I was given a Wii since the person bought a new one. I still have to fix the laser in the drive but what about a translation of Minetest for the Wii? I have been looking into it. One of the resouces I found here. Codemii Wii Programing Tutorials It might be more than I can chew. Still the I can see ...

Crafting request - Gates and Doors
I would be nice to have gates for fences and doors for building and dungeons. For gates, it could be 2 iron ignots for hinges on left side and 4 sticks. For doors, it could be 2 iron ignots for hinges on top and bottom left side the 6 peices for what you want to make the door of. 6 planks for wooden...

Silent treament - Sound?
Only thing I find annoying about Minetest is no sound. Would be nice to hear the trudging of Dungeonmaster before getting fireballed.
Even simple sound effects like when swinging the axe or pickaxe or clash of the sword.
Enviromental... rolling of waves. the wind on mountains.

I remember building a fair big wooden sail ship in the other game along with a dock. Didn't go anywhere. I displaced the water for the hull. used logs and planks. Debated of putting an underwater rail to fake a moving ship but never got that far. This would work for having a ferry though a pain to s...
