after just restarted with new compiled minetestserver 5.2.1 hihi

* server_announce = false
* border + closed
* manual change to abm_time_budget, as 5.2.0 does not have this feature yet
* further another tuning check for pipeworks (globalsteps)

need 24h to see effects,
but the most time happen first hard ABM run made NO exceed 200ms already.

... reminind, that pipeworks should be empty as of a clearobjects, and noone filling in as me, but my production is empty since yesteray evening ... pipeworks take itself MUCH TOO important,
... and mesecons also ... just this view (under 10 ) blinkys, that I have in this base at spawn6 ?

a main problem is clear:
X % of the measured work is ok, nothing to doubt (if calculations are right, but the subwork in a mod already NOT gives 100 anywhere ... so careful)
X % of the real time CPU work must be used as well

example :
if pipework takes 50% of empty server with maybe 1 sec work, or from 60 s work is a difference in what the measuring is telling us. more real work ... more accurate A BIT

with near most time 0 gamer in the night, still hidden, most mismatched client, the rest blocked by border (new gamer) = closed
* pipeworks : 51 % (globalstep[1] 48 %, ABM[4] 11 %)
* mesecons : 33.2 % (globalsstep[1] 21.8 %)
* technic : 1.8 %
* unified_inventory : 1.5 %
* postool : 1.2 %
* player_api : 1.1 %
* time : 1.0 % (also: xp_redo)
... mhh less pipeworks and more mesecons is a good sign for successful change in pipeworks, as then logical the part of other mods getting greater in the lower CPU sum usage.
... but for during night 0 gamer ... not happy about still so much work under that circumstances (not needed)

lag also shown in list (after server_announce = true) nice 32
so other side not funny, remember about discussion thread altering ABM, that even this is not a sign of successful reducing ABM impact
but that is also a following of sinking IQ in hole world, less ability to recherche and check for easy facts ... even with 20-32 gamer in, my server still is lowest lag of all top 30 server, some have 50, most start 90 and up

the main few in the morning was the terminal:
since evening NO other reporst than:
* a mismatched client try
* save the hyper-loop data
* and 3 connections blocked by border = closed (YES, other servers, I send YOU possible gamer)
so on this fact (no gamer) the numbers of profiler are still high ...

* pipeworks : 51 %
* mesecons 31 %
with most lag somewhere 0.14 to 0.4, login peaks near 0.6
checking the servers.list ... same gamer in, or technic most near/over 1.00

say it clear:
* server is ONLY still up and OPEN as of the kids login at morning,
* and my proposal from the payment, keep it minimum a year further (witch is also done with fully hidden server)

only the full close of 0.4.x server support (out of list), and also the ban of 2.0.0 (as some itself, and most server are just hosts for ads clients) might save this decision.
or say it clear, serverlist can only hold 5.x server, and also that only as also not misused for ads clients ... sorry.

I will not be part of this user cheating anymore. Sure, they are dump to use ads clients, but we COULD stop it also.

4 days now, no crash ... the consequences of this are also clear
* serverengine and mods are save ... as long not so much gamer use it HAHA
* the impression that bad clients are most responsible for crashes, OR / AND bad gamer have fun to use known issues ...

clear : pipeworks mod takes itself much to important, even not activated areas ...

only two gamer active:
* frog ... very long during day
* Piranika ... for some time
* Ateh ant, but VISA don't let him in either, hmm
* we all other use it just for be in, afk zone = no any biome, technic, pipe ! but was not in for 24 hours now

While online I've been having 2 machines running most of the time. One grinds ores and the other autocraft compressed cobble into clay. It loops back the output into autocrafters untill everything turns into clay. That's probably why pipewoks and mesecons being so high in %. Also me bing the only 1/2 active players probably skew the percentage a bit.

go to search in crafting table : pipeworks and mesecons, and check each items belong to it - and so can be part of it
grinder, furnace compressor is not ...
* pipes should be short, sure clear direction, no items should go back as of a not clear direction, avoid jam !
* and machines / autocrafter emptied in a nice rhythm with better adjustable blinky with a setting in sec, that a full stack is moved, and not every just ready item
* injector should be yellow stack version, set to rotation, not priority or random

6 days without crash
-> getting proof more and more that servers itself are not in-stable most = engine
if, it are the mods, or as written even more the bad clients ... not be minetest itself

profiler:

everything else under 1.0 %, and so nothing to worry, when I log in I see still 0.3x lag ...
but as long gamer continue to play on 20 or less servers, accepting even there more lag then it could/should be ... new gamer will try to join there as not alone, and so at the end bad lag servers are disappointing new gamer and we loose them ...
ah, the average 15 days is already down to 390 ... ... would be nice to have this result from CO2 in Hawaii


with the actual up-cumming rise of energy prices, as of
* right increase of CO2 costs (Germany)
* logic upper price in coal, gas and oil (as we still don't realize we use too much : market rules)
the energy will get more expensive and so useless server will say goodbye soon
I am a bit relaxed as of my solar, but as in Thailand 65% electric is gas, and 20% is coal it will happen here also.
Just lucky, we don't need to heat the rooms, that 16 degrees we get maybe are ok to sleep. Even in Germany I only heated up to 18 degrees ONE room, and had my long relax clothes on. IT works ...


And the continuing strong rainfalls :

oh Corona:
Imagine, all world would have done a real hard shutdown for 3 weeks after first case outside china (was in Germany and Thailand).
We would be corona free since Mai last year (2020) ... nice ha ? sure losses, but definitely less then now.
Ah, yesterday they closed our main market in Chiang Mai after give them near a day to sell out until midnight, let - WE was there also - to a overcrowded area from restaurant owners try to gather what is possible for 3 days close (can I laugh ?) and survive there own business. Lucky, THAT main infected shops was closed already, but ... it shows again two things:
* business is more important than safety (immediate close) ... = maybe spread corona more than before.
* only 3 days told, can't be true ... but there is always enough from the most needed vegetable and meat, seafood ... BUT I see very clear how that will be in an more extreme emergency ... extreme fast high price and fighting people ..
* some shop owners already offered there other main or 2nd shop to go ... same staff ? == dump human

Normal I think I will shut if off 01.01.2022 00:00,

but the fun is ... I use it for my energy tracking system ...

and so far it lucks like with just running or 2 gamer in, there is no difference in measure used power

so your server is down now? .. i remenbere to join some time ago.. but does not found the sources.. i build my server also for my childs .. and nieces.. but also for chiilds in poor countries..

i cannot found all the sources of your server.. and it seems are two .. thai and german ones?

as of an request today, there will NOT be ANY MORE changes in

it just keep running minimum into 2022 and then I see what is status then.
Rising energy price are another concern, and here also is coming up another expensive new problem with my visa.

The shock about the misusing via also multicraft to a money making game is too deep to come back.
