Thanks for sharing the screenshots! It's good that the server is remembered. It was a good time back then, and at least it was possible to save most.

You can go to this nice peacefull lost world...

I hope to keep it working as long as necessary for me to dive into it again and understand a minimumall my mess, in order to be able to provide to the community:
  • Binaries
  • Script
  • Mods

and above all, the World sqlite database ( 32GB)

So, Aries (April) of this year graced us with the return of redcrab himself. Now we are really getting somewhere in this community. As for me, I have been busy playing The Sims 4 and taking advantage of Steam sales in order to get its addons for much less than full price (because I won't buy any of them otherwise.)

So, will a full upgrade of this classic server eventually happen? oOChainLynxOo (now uTonical) used to play on here a lot, just like I used to.

Excellent that the server is back again! And it works :-) Just couldn't get the font size up to a readable level with the oldest binary I had lying around.

Binaries are close to useless, especially after that long time.

That's the most important point. It would help a lot if you could make those old mods available. I tried to recreate the versions from publicly available repos, but...I didn't always get the right version.

Getting the server to be able to run with newer versions of MT ought to be a goal as well. That requires careful adjustments. Changing the textures in an existing world is a no-go. Many mods did that over time. So the best way might be to start with the old ones and get them able to run in today's MT server.
