You need to mods only on the server. To connect to a server with mods you don't need the same mods locally.

Ya but logically it be easyer for people to download a copy with all the mods I have on it so nobodys see unknown block. And I found a lot of people time out tryin to get the textures. So I'm just doing this to save you guys some time. Logically:D

im just as excited:D however the server physically cannot turn on right now. no ram.. this is my old desktop. i have a newer computer. with these specs
I5 3.1GHZ
8 GB ram
radeon hd 6850
Corsair Force 120 ssd
this is my personal computer with alot of things i dont wont lost.
my old computer was stript for this i have all kinds of power supplys and such but i dont have more ddr3 ram. so im waiting for my ram and new case to get here and about 3 gallons of oil.
overclocking and submerging it^_^ no other minetest server will compair.
