Is there a reason the protection node radius is so small? A 3 node radius is very difficult to hide while actually protecting what you build. Hanging protection blocks everywhere out in the open is really ugly.

I think the NPC movement routines might need a little tweaking. When I tried to climb the access ladder to the elevator after a hard day's mining, I found this:



I was able to climb the ladder by coming up behind them. When I did, they immediately broke up and went their separate ways.

I don't know - maybe they were fascinated with my marvelous ladder craftsmanship until I went and scuffed a rung with my dirty boot.

I imagine there was a bad mob on the other side of the wall that was their target, and as you approached the mob moved to track you, in turn the npcs followed the mob behind the wall. I imagine there is a cavern with a cliff behind this wall, if you light it up this shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Nope, no cavity behind the ladder or elevator. Even if there was, the NPCs still should not be chasing after a mob that is on the other side of a wall.

It turns out that the es mod defines a "Punkin Slice" (note the spelling) that uses the same inventory image as the farming mod "Pumpkin Slice" (spelling again). The es slice is not compatable with the farming mod and can not be planted or farmed. The only purposes it has is as food or to craft an es mod "Punk 'O Lantern" light source.

I may end up removing punkin with alias as now we are using tenplus farming.
I will focus more time on server for performance and possible new crafts and weapons, but first getting server a bit faster is the todo.

I was just answering the question so people would know, not pressuring for any specific changes. I agree with your priorities. Chasing down Minetest server performance issues is always something of a pain. <grin>

The fishing mod, which for some reason is not included in the extreme_survival game github repository, is dropping a seaweed node that does not exist.

BTW: I love the old-style wind bobbers. I haven't seen one of those since I was a kid.

Hello, I thought I would give your server ago and decided to try out Port 30001 of your address. But the connection keeps on timing out every time I try to connect. I don't think it's a problem on my side because I was able to connect to Ports 30000 and 30002 of your server address just fine.

Yes, 30001 is down temporary, 30000 is main dedicated server, 30002 is creative server.

Hi maike,

The house I built on just test that you copied to ESM is not completely protected as it was in just test. The bubble block you put down there was not protected, therefore it was stolen. Please protect my house/shop, or give me protections so I can do it.
