--- tweaked Bamboo mod ---


already a long time we have the bamboo mod from Krock

viewtopic.php?id=8289

now I added a few things:

- It will only grow on dirt_with_grass
- it will decay if you cut the lowest part or some parts in between
- it will spread with a possibility of 10% if neighbouring mod is dirt_with_grass and empty
- put bamboo in furnace and get dried bamboo

after a friend of mine mentioned your server, I wanted to give it a try. Sadly with my name I am not permitted to login. Since I am pretty well known on a number of servers, changing it is not an option. Are you willing and able to make an exception and let noob101 have a peek in? Thank you.

Too many numbers. With these android apps generating names with 2 and more numbers I
restricted to a max number of 1 to fight them back.

Sorry for inconvenience but every solution to have less android devices on my server
is a good solution.

Honestly I think that for just taking a peek every name would do it. But why not :) You
should be able to login with the next server restart which will be 24/01/2017 01:00 pm UTC+7

Or look at serverlist if we have a server crash before that time, lol :)

Totally agreed. Nothing to add to that. Though my name was chosen, not assigned. plain "noob" was taken, so "noob lol" became noob101.

PocketNuke

finally my new mod "PocketNuke" is in beta and working already. I uploaded
newest working version to the server.

All players owning a mailbox at postoffice recieved one uranium_fuel.

Put it in the upper slot. Once placed it cannot be taken any more.
In the lower slot put your technic device like chainsaw, laser, drill etc.
It will be recharged instantly! At the moment one uranium_fuel can charge
a mk3:drill 25 times.

IMPORTANT:
there is still an issue when placing recharged tool back to inventory.
Chose only empty slots to place it. Do not replace with other slot or
that item will be lost.

Any suggestions and feedback is welcome.

Pipeworks fixed

Thanks to our player andering, the priority settings of pipeworks/filters are working now.
The last issue from yesterday is fixed and I did not find any other errors so far.

    - As you can see in the picture the injector inventory has 8 slots more now.
    - Button up left can circle through priority, random and rotation mode
    - Button up right does the same for the source chest in case injector inventory should be empty

    - The two buttons low right and left are only available for stackwise filter
    - Button low left: off means try to get whole stacks from items like shown in filter inventory
    - Button low left: on means get exactly that amount of items as put in filter inventory
    - The happy button..... You never know.... Maybe ask the developer or look in code ....

Jungle takeoff

Now everybody can fly :) At least it is possible but who said it has to be cheap !


First you need to craft a aviator:aviator, see recipe in the following picture:

Second you need to place the aviator block to the position where you need it.
The blocks marks the center of a sphere with 20 nodes radius in which
you will be granted fly priv for the time of 10 minutes.

After placing you cannot take it any more. You will get a hud message about how
much time is left. Also a countdown for the last 10 seconds before fly priv will be
taken again. It is not possible to place more than one block at a time.

I made this mod today, so it is still wip. There will be changes maybe in the future
concerning abilities and flight duration and maybe recipe also.

yes I got it here. Thank you very much tm. :)
I changed the bright creme like color to a uranium green like.
I will upload shortly, tell me what you think of it.
Light emitting is added: light_source = 12

Aviator

Aviator mod is updated:
    - new textures from tm3
    - added hud to show info about distance to node and remaining time
    - made the node diggable, remaining time stored in metadata
    - it is NOT diggable by tools like drill, laser or replacer !
    - if client crashes or server shuts down, aviator with remaining time is saved to inventory
    - You need one empty slot in inventory. Because of the metadata, the digged node is very
    unlikely to stock and will not stock on aviator:aviator when digged.

Please report any errors here or in game.
This mod is still very wip, I will move topic to mods/wip section as soon as testing is done.

1. circular saw now cuts snow and ice from default and thin ice and salt from caverealms
2. chainsaw now cuts all kind of vines, easier tree cutting like this
3. aviator mod is finished and pending now to move to Mod Releases section. Until then

Great. Gundul can you add
1. default:stone_block,
2. default:sandstone_block,
3. default:desert_stone_block
4. default:obsidian_block
to circular saw even cnc please. ;) :P

As they are default to minetest 0.4.15 now and they look cool :)

Growing Jungle

Our Player DjZab did a very nice job with his amusement park. There you can ride
a rollercoaster, visit a saloon, gamble, solve the labyrinth ... and much more.
Next to it now opened Dusty City (DC) including a city mall and already a few buildings.
Talk to DjZab how to get building land and what sytle should apply.

Also do not forget to visit OpenLab with many new machines and demo installation and documentation.
Just type /openlab in chat to get there. Gliding Ufo build by DjZab, working realtime world clock by clyde and

I saw there are too strict rules, even for trying to break one protected block player teleports in the prison
I like and i am learning to build nice and great houses, palaces, infrastructures and etc... in Minetest!

We have one new mod made by juli. Fish_food allows you
to craft food to feed your fish and breed them. This works for
clownfish, tropical fish and jellyfish.

For testing I increased the number of aktive mapblocks from 1 to 2 !
Lets see if the server can handle this. Please tell me how the gameplay
feels now when multiple players are online.

Increased number of mapblocks also effects the aviation device :
new radius is 40 nodes ! Also increased flying time to 15min.

Test ended. Server cannot handle 2 aktive mapblocks.

Aviator radius decreased to 20 nodes again. Length stays at 15min.

Everytime when i use my mining laser the hunger-bar goes much faster down. Is it possible to change that? Because after 20 shots or so i have then to eat more. That is for my feelings unrealistic (yes minetest is everytime unrealistic :) ) and also very bad if i wanna mine.
I hope u can change that.

Hi Juli,

that is the bad news about the hunger. Hunger is calculated by the amount of nodes you dig. Using a laser mk3 which digs 24 (?) nodes at a time makes you of course faster hungry than digging with pickaxe or a drill.
But now the good news:
Earning money is also calculated by the amount of digged nodes (and also the amount of placed nodes). Using a laser mk3 will give your much more money than using a pickaxe because you can dig much more nodes in the same time. You could use some of that extra money to buy some food in one of our many food stalls.

I think that system is kind of balanced and does not need a change.

Did you change anything in my snow machine.
If not i don't know what happened, all my refrigerator were gone.
Either someone stole it (i have no idea how that is possible :P) or it just disappeared.
Now, it's not working, which makes me sad :(

I did not change anything on your machine and even code is still same
concerning snowballs.
Better we look ingame where your fridges have gone to.
