Great pictures :) Fun to see these buildings here. Great server anyway :)

If you have some standard mods that causes problems, I could try to have a look and fix them (can't promise).

I don't know if it still happens but we had many "too many users" in december. Could it be possible to increase the max number of players if so or it may be too much for the server ?

One problem to upgrade to minetest 0.4.15 is already solved, if any other will occur i will
let you know :)

For the max players. The main issue is that the more you get on the top of servers.minetest.net
list, the more android kiddies will see it on their screen and try to login. That is what keeps
players from being able to login. The server hardware is at its limit already. Only thing which
would be possible is to kick all those who stay longer than 5min in jail or put some mod to kick
all players standing around somewhere. (including those guarding their quarries) :)
But to be honest, we gained a lot of new serious players in december too. It is true it can get
full in the evenings. Anyway a game engine solution to identify android devices and let server
owners decide to let them connect or not would help a lot, safe server resources and traffic.

Oh no there is one more solution:
Everyone pays me 5Euros a month to rent some dedicated server hardware with more
power, lol

If you know any other solution let me know :)

--- Upgraded to Minetest 0.4.15 ---



yesterday upgraded to the newest version of Minetest game. Many mods are already
updated and server is running stable. Have fun with the all the new stuff from our
diligent dev team :)

Moretrees mod is updated so you get date palm tree, large and small poplar tree and
Palm trees having flowers. All new saplings and trees you can see in arboretum.
The Cedar Tree is the old moretrees:pinetree.

Last night some of the players noticed that seeds were not growing any more. This

Hello Junglians. Happy new year to all of you.
I recently came to know about sunflower invasion of jungle ;) and thanks to Gundul he has made a sunflower killing device called "antipest". So, you may now kill more of those pests. But, before throwing away all those sunflowers you already have before this news came out; you can donate sunflowers to my dropbox in the post office. i will glad to accept it. if space won't be enough in dropbox i will be putting a mithril chest with vacuum tube in my island. you can use travelnet at HOT to reach there. Thanks for your time and generousity, i will be grateful to you. :)

lol i am too late, tm3 was faster than me :)

But yes, I felt boring today and decided to do something against the
sometimes quiet annoying sunflowers.

The new mod I made is called "antipest" so look for it in inventory
and you will find a "antipest:cleaner"

It is a technic device so rechargeable in your batterybox. Once charged
you will be able to kill up 6000 sunflowers. Just hold it in your hand and
leftclick. In an area of 20 nodes in radius all sunflowers will be killed.
It is a 100% herbizide, no drops, just kill.

Textures are wip, so is the mod. If anyone has a good idea for texture
please contact me.

Another solution would be to add a recipe to change sunflower into gold or diamonds. In less than two days, the map would have been cleaned :)

I am pretty sure it would. But maybe it would not help you with the "too many users" problem :D

Thanks. Well, ok how about these for "antipest" texture. These are thermal fogging machine. Electric versions are there too. They look like some alien s**tgun too. i didn't find any other pesticide machine that cool lol. :)

Yes that thing looks cool ! :) But maybe after a made a texture from it, it won't any more ...

Yes that thing looks cool ! :) But maybe after a made a texture from it, it won't any more ...

well ofcourse, when things get down to pixel it don't look that good. But can try. Water mv machine look good :). Any size constraint for this one? specify a dimension otherwise. :) so top and bottom nearly same probably except those pesticide filling cap on top. side ways look same. i have a design in my head. but you need to specify dimension. :)

I guess any square png file can be used as texture. 16x16, 32x32, 64x64 etc

The wielded item can be stretched in one direction if that should be needed.
(done by game engine via definition)

A big thank you to our player tm3 !!!

We have now a awesome texture for my antipest mod :)

The antipest_cleanup device will now process the collected
sunflowers into coal:

each 9 sunflowers into 1 coal_lump
while each 9 coal_lumps are automatically converted into a coalblock
and everything will be added to your inventory.

Also turn chat messages of antipest on/off with a right click on the ground

two mods have been deactivated, they where

- showbones bevause not working reliable, especially when died in Lava

- gravitysim because suspected to generate too much cpu load on server

already a long time we have the bamboo mod from Krock

now I added a few things:

- It will only grow on dirt_with_grass
- it will decay if you cut the lowest part or some parts in between
- it will spread with a possibility of 10% if neighbouring mod is dirt_with_grass and empty
- put bamboo in furnace and get dried bamboo

after a friend of mine mentioned your server, I wanted to give it a try. Sadly with my name I am not permitted to login. Since I am pretty well known on a number of servers, changing it is not an option. Are you willing and able to make an exception and let noob101 have a peek in? Thank you.

Too many numbers. With these android apps generating names with 2 and more numbers I
restricted to a max number of 1 to fight them back.

Sorry for inconvenience but every solution to have less android devices on my server
is a good solution.

Honestly I think that for just taking a peek every name would do it. But why not :) You
should be able to login with the next server restart which will be 24/01/2017 01:00 pm UTC+7

Or look at serverlist if we have a server crash before that time, lol :)

PocketNuke

finally my new mod "PocketNuke" is in beta and working already. I uploaded
newest working version to the server.

All players owning a mailbox at postoffice recieved one uranium_fuel.

Put it in the upper slot. Once placed it cannot be taken any more.
In the lower slot put your technic device like chainsaw, laser, drill etc.
It will be recharged instantly! At the moment one uranium_fuel can charge
a mk3:drill 25 times.

IMPORTANT:
there is still an issue when placing recharged tool back to inventory.
Chose only empty slots to place it. Do not replace with other slot or
that item will be lost.

Any suggestions and feedback is welcome.

Pipeworks fixed

Thanks to our player andering, the priority settings of pipeworks/filters are working now.
The last issue from yesterday is fixed and I did not find any other errors so far.

    - As you can see in the picture the injector inventory has 8 slots more now.
    - Button up left can circle through priority, random and rotation mode
    - Button up right does the same for the source chest in case injector inventory should be empty

    - The two buttons low right and left are only available for stackwise filter
    - Button low left: off means try to get whole stacks from items like shown in filter inventory
    - Button low left: on means get exactly that amount of items as put in filter inventory
    - The happy button..... You never know.... Maybe ask the developer or look in code ....

Jungle takeoff

Now everybody can fly :) At least it is possible but who said it has to be cheap !


First you need to craft a aviator:aviator, see recipe in the following picture:

Second you need to place the aviator block to the position where you need it.
The blocks marks the center of a sphere with 20 nodes radius in which
you will be granted fly priv for the time of 10 minutes.

After placing you cannot take it any more. You will get a hud message about how
much time is left. Also a countdown for the last 10 seconds before fly priv will be
taken again. It is not possible to place more than one block at a time.

I made this mod today, so it is still wip. There will be changes maybe in the future
concerning abilities and flight duration and maybe recipe also.

yes I got it here. Thank you very much tm. :)
I changed the bright creme like color to a uranium green like.
I will upload shortly, tell me what you think of it.
Light emitting is added: light_source = 12

Aviator

Aviator mod is updated:
    - new textures from tm3
    - added hud to show info about distance to node and remaining time
    - made the node diggable, remaining time stored in metadata
    - it is NOT diggable by tools like drill, laser or replacer !
    - if client crashes or server shuts down, aviator with remaining time is saved to inventory
    - You need one empty slot in inventory. Because of the metadata, the digged node is very
    unlikely to stock and will not stock on aviator:aviator when digged.

Please report any errors here or in game.
This mod is still very wip, I will move topic to mods/wip section as soon as testing is done.

1. circular saw now cuts snow and ice from default and thin ice and salt from caverealms
2. chainsaw now cuts all kind of vines, easier tree cutting like this
3. aviator mod is finished and pending now to move to Mod Releases section. Until then

Great. Gundul can you add
1. default:stone_block,
2. default:sandstone_block,
3. default:desert_stone_block
4. default:obsidian_block
to circular saw even cnc please. ;) :P

As they are default to minetest 0.4.15 now and they look cool :)
