@ANAND btw did the server ever receive the updates you gave a preview of? The last time i was on was over a week after the announcement and the updates weren't there :(.

CTF Need Updates :
Not Magic Stuff... Its not Good for Guns/Swords PVP server...
Server needs More Updates As FPS Games.....
Server Follow FPS Style

Stix: The features have already been merged (see the commits on Aug 3) but just haven't been applied yet, as they needs to be tested extensively before being deployed. Poke rubenwardy if they haven't been deployed yet :)

Umm... why have you used '@' before my name, btw?

LMD: rubenwardy does seem to be intent on adding TNT. Let's hope TNTA passes the battery of tests he has formulated for adding mods :P

Nah, does that battery include it's not by KGM :P (then we have a problem)
TNTA(++) itself needs many improvements, but my fixed version *may* fulfill
the requirements...

i Have an REPORT : Kind of players Use very very higggggghtttt tunnels at sky to Take the flag then Dig blocks to the sky as fast possible to use it ... The tunnels are very hight ... As the eyes can t see those blocks : Kind of players build this tunnel with glass to make it looks invisible .. Its looks easy to capture
1 - Player Jumps on water
2- Player Run to the base
3- Player Take the flag
4- Player Dig blocks into the sky
5- Player Use this Hight tunnel to run then use ladder to their Base to capture

Kind of those Tunnels are on Bridge map :
Impossible to stop
Rifle or any kind of guns can t work because tunnel is kinda Hight may eyes can t see it .... Digging blocks into this tunnel to stop the capturer takes so long time ..... perfect snipers can t stop it ..
This is an compltly noob tactic to capture without any Diffucult ...

i ASK mods to Make Blocks UNDIGGABLE on Hight Cordinates of Map .. so player willl have an limit of Digging blocks
so when he will put an block on 100B+ LIMIT block will be destroyed .......
This is annoying .. Player takes the flag then he dig blocks to Hight tunnel then he run an capture to easy ..Noob Tactic
On Bridge map
if is it caverns this will be an valid tactic but on bridge this is Not valid as player sees
Digging blocks on 100 Blocks UP must be Stopped and disabled why server mods

His name appear but his skin NOT R dont work any of Hight vision tricks Dosent effect i tryed everything ... Shooting him will not work if you was in the game you can see how it was impossible

He is Soooo Hight .. Even Max view range will never makes his body appear cause hight SkyBridge so highhttt impossible to see only the name : + He is running up .. if you shot its 0.00001% to Makes the shot Effect him
Blocks Dont appear in MAX vision range So you can NOT destory the blocks to make him fall ... Even Rifle shoots will effect the blocks that he dont run on them .... And the blocks are made with glass .. Glasss is so fast to get effected to broke and hard to Shoot them or to see them... I hope if i got an screen with full viewing range to make u see how its impossible to see his body

Before long time of digging blocks you can see With what the tunnel is made with .... Glass blocks .. and its so close to the Cloud of sky ... I was digging so long to see it ....
If you was with me at Game you gonna directly say : Impossible to See that

Wrong, look at the screenshot, his body is perfectly visible. If you want to stop him all you have to do is shoot out the bridge in front of him so he has nowhere to go but back.

Solution : Change your texture pack. Your high-res one makes glass hardly visible.

This is not an Texture Thing .... And if i change him glass will do Camfoulage with the glass at the corner of map
Its an Worng Thing with the blocks limit
Player can dig blocks so hight in Bridge map .. so hight Also Player can Dig blocks So hight Then like that They can Make Sky Bridges So hight To Dont give the player any chanse to See them with max range ... They use water to jump in

Max HIGHT blocks limits must be set at 100 BLOCK
To STOP this Beginner tactic of making An Very hight Tunnel to Capture so easy without any difficult

Better tactic: let the water remain, but reduce it's height to 1 node only - players who jump into the water will die for sure ;)

You mean if the player jump on water from an Hight place he will die .. Nice..
BUT what if the player use Dirt Floor to get flag then he dig blocks into the bridge then he Use blocks Slowly to Get into the base... without Using water as jumplace
Player can put ladder in water or he can ask an teammate to Protect the water ..... or asking him for putting ladder in water like that he Dont get too much Damage or Teammates can save his life from the water

Guys Something must be Changed on CTF
Players Now Use Multiple Apples SlotBar To get Unlimited life+Kills
what i calls : Apple machine
i Dont mean with that every player who use apples
Im not Against apples
But Something must be limited to them
For Max number of apples who was set to 30
Still possibility to use more than 30 by adding 30 in furnence then putting 30 in ItemBar and 30 in another bar
Player edit MouseItemSwitch speed
So he can Health himself so fast and Get unlimited Skills behind the ennemie base
We all Know that Apples are an part of game and they are amazing because the Health service
But What Apples are going behind the limit :
Player put multiple Apples in multiple slotbars
He attack
He health himself without stop at the ennemie base
he FarmSkills toooo much as he want an no one can stop him because he health himself sooo fastttt those gaming mouses helps too much for that ( increasing Rolling Item Switch Speed to The favourite speed for an good Fast switch between apples and sword )
Who Makes the AppleMachinePlayer looks like jedi
he can do infinit Skills without Getting death .... Who makes the game kinda boring .... and gives the players bad possibilities like Fighting Players who dont have apples
What i suggest is simple idea that dont make Apples bad to use and dont Make the Service that apples Gives bad
Gives Time limit to apples
Player can use 4 Apples Only every 1 Minutes
Like that he can won and gives others chanse to Kill him
And he has possibilites like digging blocks to the sky or calling teamamtes

CESTRayCRYSTAL - You need to calm down. :) I haven't been able to use apples the way you are describing apples being used in months. Neither has Waterbug or anyone else. You are exaggerating.

As for the bridge/tunnel tactic, that's a valid tactic. Players actually go through the trouble of making those tunnels and building those glass bridges so that they are hard to catch. After all, the whole point of the game is to steal the flag, right?

Just calm down and play the game. If you don't like how it is, don't play. You are asking for changes that would wreck the game for a lot of other players just because of your dislikes.

There's nothing wrong with players using their own methods to steal the flag... they're not cheating. If all these controlling 'upgrades' were put into the game, nobody would want to play it anymore.. way too hard to remember what you're not allowed to do and what you are. And a whole lot of players would get upset at getting kicked and banned for things they shouldn't be kicked and banned for.

Right on! It took me between 15 and 30 minutes to build the glass bridge in those screen-shots; plus the fact that it is just as easy to counter the bridge tactic as it is to build the bridge that the tactic requires.

Agreed! Bridges are very easy to counter and fail most the time.

Its the tunnels that are the worst...
