This server is the best server of all history,but,can you put a maximum of 25 players please?The server is always full of players :D

Though the server is frequently full, adding more players is not the answer. More players create lag as well as make it harder to capture the flag, due to more people playing. Simply put, you don't want a crowded CTF game.

I think that RubenWardy is planning in the future of adding a second server with similar gameplay as CTF but different. Like castle defense, multiple flags, city wars, etc.

I would love to see team vs. team battles across deserts, forests, oceans, tundra, etc.
Maybe pre-made maps as schematics, like de_dust2 with voxels :)
Never paint white stripes on roads near Zebra crossings.

Updates:



  • Clear inventory on player leave.
  • Fix flag being dropped by sand. Disallow flag placing by unprivileged players.
  • Remove grass growing and plantlike grass decorations.
  • Add report command.
  • Fix chatplus player name pattern matches (names can now contain -).
  • Remove lava bucket.
  • Add export to html option to rankings table.
  • Mods can now skip matches without starting a vote.
  • Give mods the power to stop running votes.
  • Give mods the power to change a player's team.
  • Give mods the power to return a player to spawn.

ideas for gameplay enhancement:

0-stamina and sprinting? fighting and running depletes stamina, with no stamina you cant sprint
1-killing enemy players gives player points, when you die points reset to 0
2-with points you can "buy" better weapons from team chest.Chest would contain infinite weapons of each kind, but you would need to spend points to take it from chest
3- this should be only way to get better weapons besides crafting and picking it up to reward playing the game
4-very slow health regeneration, 1 heart every 10 seconds or less? Now you must "suicide" to restore health cause apples are gone quickly
5-to prevent griefing make it possible to teamkill player removing blocks near base for 3 seconds only after removal of blocks

0 : I think it creates lags.
1 : You've got my total disagree
2 : This would unbalance the game even more, the first kill would give a certain advantage to the killer instantly
3 : So you would HAVE to kill to get better tools ? Capture the flag is not just a dumb deathmatch, you know ?
4 : Slow health regeneration is already planned, nice to see that many people ask for it.
5 : Hem. Hem. Do you know that grieffing arrives also by posing blocks ? What would arrive if you wanted to rebuild a structure and that you got killed when removing some parts of it ?

Please think twice

0- So 1/2 sprint go when you have flag the,
1-it would be too hard then to wi points if you get killed at the end
2-it's not bad idea but I think more about private chest where is better stuff
3-I don't aprove that
4-it'w too easy then to don't get killed
5-I would prefer back /vote-kick (name) (reason)

I like the idea of health regeneration (perhaps only near home base or in specified spots) but maybe instead of unbalancing it by changing the items available you could improve total health for more kills.

I think it would benefit from a variety of hand-to-hand weapons with different swing speeds and damages.

Also, swords are automatically much better than guns because of their swing rate so could you reduce the swing rate of melee weapons (or increase that of ranged weapons).

I definitely agree with short-lived sprints.

And a more varied map with some houses/structures automatically generated at the start of the game.

I've been wanting to make a weapons mod with lots of swords (european, japanese), pikes and non-throwing spears, maybe. But needs to be well balanced and consistent (everything should have its place, and a cost)

Swords are better than guns, true. But swords have a short range, so it's up to you to keep distance @Alienant1 :)

@rubenwardy : +1 for the deep melee weapons mod. Hope it will see the light some day :)

I agree. Only 1 thing, pistols have a very short range and are the most common gun in chests, so they are a bit useless. I like the new additions of team chests and crossbows.

I don't like the idea of stamina and sprinting, as it would give some advantage to certain users. Maybe some kind of "boost" that when activated you go fast for half a second, or something like that, then you need to wait for the stamina bar to refill to use it again.

@Minetest Sam : this was removed because of spammers using chests. Also I don't think filling the whole map with chests would be a good idea. I'm repeating myself, but think twice !

Using fast configuration would allow every player to use sprint.

@Alienant : Pistols are very useful when you're running after someone and cannot touch him with a sword, and they're made for that :)

why does sprint give an advantage to some? I thought everyone can use it.

Android clients can't use sprint, as it uses E. You could detect double W tab, but that's a bad UI.

There's already sprint mods that use double-pressing movement keys, but are absurdly lag-prone, and only work if there's virtually no lag.

Just my thoughts on what had been said recently:
Don't remove water buckets.
I like the idea of slow health regeneration.
I don't like the idea of adding sprint.
I don't like the idea of adding stamina.
I like the idea of adding more weapon variety.
Please add tnt!

Just fyi, I won't be able to play or moderate on this server for a while due to computer problems. Thanks for understanding.

It is not possible to craft TNT, I've tried, multiple times. I do wish that TNT will be added, or at least the ability to craft it.
