I have been playing for a while and noticed that payrus does not grow. Would it be a bug?

can i ask your ingame name make sure its got enough light it and also make sure its on normal dirt or grass and near water source

IIRC, normally it grows on unturned, normal dirt beside or above a water source.

I get it know. I used to grow papyrus on sand not on dirt. I thought the rule is the same as in Mincraft and never tried other way.
