I didn`t find this is server in list "client", maybe is he disconnected?

The relaunch of Just Test II server is scheduled for Monday, December 19. An announcement will be made on the forums with the new IP address and port at that time.

maikerumine, i was watching one of your videos (good videos) where you mentioned that you once used my 'pathv6alt' mod (that creates a network of paths, bridges and tunnels) but had problems with it.
If you want to try an improved version see https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=15423
This is designed to follow mgv7 terrain (as long as you haven't altered the mgv7 noise parameters), is simpler, faster, works better and has all the memory use optimisations so will use much less memory.

I saw that! I will test this asap and update my esm game, thank you for all your hard work paramat, you awesome dude! As for the problems with pathv6alt, I believe it was OOM combined with villages, ruins, and mines back when 4.13 became very unstable. I since haven't tested these together.

Yes, currently being migrated to sorcerykid's server, she will not be owner and admin of this server. :D

Although maikerumine stepping aside bums me out at the same time.

I know people are anxious for the relaunch but please be patient. Maike and I are working on getting everything ready.

As promised, JT2 was brought back online today. I needed to make extensive changes to the mapgen settings as well as to update my cavegen.cpp code for 0.4.14, so that was part of the reason for the delay. Thanks, however, to maike we got everything sorted out in time.

I will be spending all day Tuesday updating spawn with Christmas decor and adding a few other holiday surprises! :)

This was a HUGE undertaking, so once again I really appreciate everyone's patience. Long live Just Test!

YAY! Even doing usually boring things such as harvesting wheat and trashing seeds was as fun as jumping off of towers. And finding more noob bones in my lava lake too :D So glad to see the server back. Thanks to sorcerykid & maikerumine!

I hope this server will have the easyvend mod installed one day. Because the original vendor mod is buggy and incomplete. (Some examples: You can't sell more than 1 tool at once in vending machines. If you try anyway, you actually sell only 1 tool for the full price. You can't sell more than the maximum stack size allows. Buyers don't know beforehand if they are going to buy damaged tools. Ugly interface. People often fail to setup the machines correctly. Etc.)

In fact, the only reason I wrote easyvend was because of this server because I felt the original vendor mod on Just Test was lacking.

But I fear it is currently impossible to transition from vendor to easyvend without breaking all vending machines. But maybe you could put this mod on your “watch list”, maybe? :-) Maybe I should put more work into compability stuff. But if someone wants to post comments into this thread, I will appreciate it. :-)

PS: The signs at spawn need updating.

PPS: What is the actual name of this server? Because there is some naming confusion:

Thanks Wuzzy I'll take that into consideration. As for signs, I haven't changed anything yet. This is just a fresh copy of the map from the archive supplied by maikerumine. Updates will occur today.

The official name of the server is now JT2: Just Test Tribute, to distinguish it from the earlier incarnation of @test@. I'm hoping the new, more distinct name will make it easier to search on Google, etc. I will keep @test@ for awhile, however, to allow former players find it.

I remember Just Test server didn`t name as "Just Test 2".Possible is this like copy of last server?
