It's for free, but mapgen and loading times if you load too many 3rd-party mods will be considerably slower. That's not an artificial limitation; it's a hardware limitation of the ARM CPU that's powering the computer, a C.H.I.P., your server will be running on.
Your server will be located on 45.21.218.32, port 28911. Only the mods you specified you be enabled, unless you tell me you want to change some. The map seed used is 4929073111607699719.

Get onto the server while it's running soon.

• A different port number (I will give you 28912, you can pick from 28912 to 28915)?

Any of these things can be changed anytime. You will end up with a server on its defaults in survival mode with damage enabled unless you tell me how you want your server customized. Initial map generation may take a while to complete everywhere you go.
New players will begin in a large area of snow, so in order to be able to progress, you may have to walk for a while before you can find any trees or anything else that can provide with wood.

I don't know much about dealing with domain names yet, and at the moment, I'm not willing to buy a domain name. However, I'm coming up with some major changes in the next few days.
I've just started setting up a personal file server running on a Debian-based distribution called OpenMediaVault. This is a smaller x86-based computer (it can hold only ITX-sized motherboards, Shuttle-branded) that I plan on keeping on for most of the time. So all the Minetest servers that I migrate to this computer can take advantage of better performance. Your server will be included, too. :)

I'll be finished when I set up the port forwarding to the new computer and transfer thw world files to it. Since port 28911 is not likely to be used, your server will be using it again.

can someone set up a server for me. im not really into minetesthosting.com it doesnt even let set up a spawn so you cant use /spawn to get to spawn. the only closest thing is static spawn. and if your lost the only way to get to spawn is by dying. i don't think players are going to like losing their items in inventory if they have to die to get there.
also would e nice if anyone knew of a hosting site paid/free don't matter.
i dont want VPN sites or the like. and would like sites with easy 1-10min setup. willing to pay...via paypal only. i will not give out credit card info sorry.....but i dont support identity theft. plus i got an idea of what mods i might want for a server.
also i would like to try it free for at least 1 day to make sure its worth paying for. i dont want a server thats going to LAG every 5 steps if you get what i mean.....so please only decent hardware computers for hosting please
