[Server] Server.Minetest.One [0.4.x] for Beginners to learn better game with Minetest server and maybe client

180 (old 199) gamer max
* seen max 141 yet

- but do not complain that this server take away your ??? gamer ... every server has its change with the right settings and mods - and I am sure, most of this gamer, maybe also bots you wont have, as I see most aren't writing, and others most are Russian - just go in and look them ... (even I am still happy upgraded my 1st server to 5.x not to have those)

this settings keep them
- no kick at inaktivity
- no hunger
- no damage
- creative
- and help from I guess minimum 4 other server admins keep server top1

Hardware 4 core, 16 GB RAM, incl. GForce GT 710, SSD 550 read/write
Ubuntu, GUI

and already place one all servers ...

after restart 12.06. Morning
about 30% +-3 CPU when 32 gamer in - show server-lag 0.19 now (at 55 gamer and some time clear-objects 0.16 !)

/profiler save
boats - 28 %
carts - 25.1 %
playeranim - 13.8 % (set false next restart)
default - 10.4 % (changed main ABM-grasscover, so less interval, but greater chance)
time - 7.4 % (set false for next restart)
areas - 7 %
unified_inventory - 4.4 %
fire - 2.1 %
hud (set false for next start)

and who agree with this solution is just asked to let one small client windows logged in here also ... with normal, no number name ... Thanks

Now I ask our other server admins,
what (mod, map, ...) I should offer,
that this most crazy destroying gamer get good builders and wanted gamer ?


* one step, when I see good builds and can realize the builder, I make a area for him/her ...

* just got idea, to do like exhibition of our servers, mean parts of worlds WE into there, protected, entrance with the name of the server it came from ... to let all see out variations of builds (problem, builds with mods that are not here (yet))

after 2 crash this night, I false some more active mod, also to save CPU time, as near 80 player still to keep under 0.3 is hard.
Main the cart makes often a lot, as some people have nothing else to do, as set 99 carts on rail ...

still only open help by only one other mts admin ... yes, he is right, there IS no mt community anymore, it seams like mt itself near the death.

added:
a new max of 87 gamer had been in, but with the now false mods now the lag is and keep most lower than 0.2 - I see most 0.14- I build a bit around, need to put in letters next ...

new max 118 gamer - who said that mts cant handle this ??? - I seam more that the core devs cant handle mts anymore 8=)

This server will shut down 30.06.2019

in the coming 14 Days Minetest leaders, or community should have found a solution.

I am not willing to spend more energy (brain or electric) longer than needed how it can be done.

I have to start solve a bigger problem than this from now - I have to try to get my daughter a better education (maybe back to Europe Germany), or to train here survival ... here, ... similar to Sarah O.Conner ???

even I am sure around 2050 most of you kids (born some after 2010 and now) will die in results of climate change, starve by hunger and other effects.

after a hardware server crash somewhere 06:18 16.06.
restarted with + mod: alphabeth, xdecor, homedecor, ...
and back to number one sure, as I see the logins

A long analysis of how beginners choose worlds ....know how to get points and the list is sorted ... and use this knowledge (which is all in this forum)
= beginners, as also most of gamer want
* first they find
* a lot of gamer as friends, to let them see what they build, or ask for help, ...
* easy, mean not hunger, no damage, have/get all medially
* no autokick
= offer this, and do
* what makes points (fake full name gamer = each +1) my kids are alone 16 gamer, keep admins accounts logged in all time ,,, +4, or use
* what doesn't loos points (young server = up to -8 points, too high max - x points, but I have, can reduce to 160 next time; to often reboot/crash = up to -8 points)
* stay away from lag mods ...

make it clear: whoever server is telling me to join this fight against Multicraft will be supported the same, mean then I will start a rotating promotion (switch every day to another) of every 0.4.x server join this fight, but should have

* no or low perIP login block as LS-Wonderland at 10, another at 6 (is just maybe much enough, depending on how admins step in)
* good hardware to handle that up to 50 gamer without lag
* feel save with protector/areas and know what will happen when they all come in !!!

Your right, they aren't existing - I thought, those how have the power to change code like the server list web page, or those who have to right to handle in forum, - or those how knock done on every poster here doing something wrong like mixing one and org domain ending ...
They are all gone ..., or don't have the guts to stand up ... it is only me now ...

Server is restarted 7:30 (0:30 utc) with one further mod = true, as of an interesting fact, posted by the pro of mcs in the list.
So I test this out, and see what is changing ...
And if my guessing is right, and works - I can reduce the max gamer a lot. sure 100, maybe even down to 50

The days of this server are counted in just 10 days left.

I will do a restart today again with two changes until 30.06.
* using the server list penalty code

to ban this gamer, and see what change
* reducing max gamer to 32 = no MINUS point as higher then 32 ... even we have proofed 161 on mcs and me 141 on mts is possible, but ... minetest is slow ... they say, ok ... they rule, they say ... they decide - I (have to) act on this facts and my knowledge

Reason that this server is sure closing on 30:
* The main minetest community was not interested in the discussion of a lot of threads as
** minetest server list rules and points
** minetest server list and forks
** much more (ping server fail, )

* the poll is now (20.06.19) 8 NO, 4 YES, and 2 need more reasons,
** mean all 14 votes, so NO has 57% but
** out of today 224 server, mean sure near 100-150 admin it is just 10% of those,
** and out of maybe 1000 users ...
** and even this 57% NO poll seams to have no any affect to the core
the poll is not representative and show only : minetest admins and users are not interested ... and if you are not interested why should I anymore ...

* I will need to use this server then to change into the gamer room for my kids = more real pointing gamer in my server, no promoting others also anymore ... my PCs, my server to play ... mean 8 PC now here at my private for the kids, and when I got more, I just invite the neighbor kids ... Rule: only this game, only my server - isn't illegal at all.

and that scared me also about server-list counting ...

but not to take any gamer of the other servers, I put it off

a last test during last night with
* server_announce = false
* but got about 20 steady logged in gamer,
kept near 70 gamer for most time of the night.

Gamer not counted in server-list, gamer not go to open servers,
and show that a server just a weak keep pos1 steady, can go underground (hidden) after that, as server IP is stored in client and shown up. And if server just come up hidden with fast logged in mass - this gamer are gone ... for all other servers, and not seen on statistics.

The result was as I expected.

Mean actual, as MCservers most are in the top 10, this gamer might been lost for long time for any other server. Guess 3-6 Month, if this servers are not going to add more options, keeping interesting.

So very easy to push up new servers, and if someone want, take 10 servers direct, keep them up with logged in admin etc., make different variants, and maybe a world over-heading player db - other servers are out - mean no change really to get to top anymore.

OK, most seam not really to mind about if 90% of day the server is running without any gamer.
