maybe... a hacker definitely did it though, i think it was MvK or DreamCrusher they both flooded two servers so thats why i think it was them.

But seriously, wow, what a weird biome. v7 gen map contains so many bugs.

It's not a bug, it's a feature. :D

Nothing strange. What I noticed are:
- Nazi symbol - probably there's Nazi-fans playing on server so they build it.
- Floating island & waterfall - that's normal in v7 map
- Sliced up mountain - that's also normal in v7 map
- Floating building (left-top in image) - that's normal (I've seen many buildings where people build at above, and just having a connecting stairs from ground - maybe they try to not destroy ground landscape)

You should add rules about forbid any hate symbol. I've got Banned (any hate symbol) in my world.

HOMETOWN is shut down. Turned off until I can figure this out.
There is a HUGE, I mean HUUUUUUUUGE water source ocean up in the air that got triggered somehow. And it's growing. I need to figure out how to stop it before it's taken over the server.
I mean it's actually growing THAT fast.

Sorry. Don't know how it happened. I suspect a bug with mapgen somehow as there have been cool lakes even land with lakes appearing in the sky at times lately.

WTF?!!! One question: Do you have added worldedit mod on your server? 4 months ago I had a server, and then it broke... It appeared weird things in sky, and crashed the server everytime. If you have used worldedit, never type //deleteblocks. This command breaks world servers files. If you want to fix it, take you sql map, and move it into a new world, with all player's info.

Ban Hate symbols such as svaztikas - that's nazi and it's evil. Any hate symbol I remove it from my server.

ExeterDad just got home from work and he's going to investigate further and clean up the water, he just has to keep the server down while working on it. I'll keep you updated. If it was a grief we'll be able to tell from the server logs, and the worst thing that will happen is we may opt to only issue water privs to known and trusted players.

Not to worry, we have backups just in case!

IOKA: Do you use worldedit mod? Because it looks like this mod. //deleteblocks command it's a broken command. it causes glitches in a world server.

Um, don't hate on Nazis. I do agree that they shouldn't've been killing Jews, but they're not 100% evil.

I am now going to ban user: tgg for a very carefully crafted water grief.
Player tgg will be banned for life.

Server is up, thank you for your patience while this was sorted out!

For the time being water privs have been revoked. When we started the server, we very carefully considered whether or not players should be automatically given the ability to place water, and we decided to allow and wait and see if we were presented with issues. Until we figure out just what we want to do now, water can only be placed by staff members. I apologize for the inconvenience, you guys.

Honestly, this hurts me. I'm not 100% sure what caused this derailment of considerable intelligence, but this really dissapoints me.

Now I have only two, maybe three considerations for moderator team.

I just.....don't understand.

Also, food for thought, is it a development thing (MT update) that causes water placed in a corner formation to spread to fill the square? Earlier releases required that 2 x 2 concept. "Infinite" Water thing.....#skyblock.

It was something that I asked a long time ago when I came across it on an earlier build. (Thanks again for the help Kibbs) I'm not sure if it was ever answered. If this were "removed" or "rewritten" per se, this might solve the issue of "water(spill)priv". Cuz, with all the "farming" going on, I dread the "Hey Sky, can you place 100x nodes of water here?"
