So, hopefully it's up soon, I wonder if there's anything we can do to compensate players who have lost builds? A lot can happen in a week, I'm glad it wasn't more xD

I don't know if gold alone could compensate it, like some of us mined so many golds and I've used my mined golds to build a new building at new location yesterday... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We have a hometown anniversary jersey, but this would be special for those who lost work/items.

AFAIK only the database was affected, so the log files could be used. You could also make a script to run externally to see who chatted during that time from the chat logs.

maybe it can take all the players action logged to rebuild the buildings with some bot or so

Yes, player actions are logged. But I think there was a backup from Sunday the 17th so not too many hours of work will be lost.

I believe this is possible, but not ideal.
Every dig or place action would need to be "replayed". Much of those digs are "gathering" of materials, or placing junk to get up to that diamond. No way to tell if it's for a build or not.
Also placement would be messed up. There's no record of the direction a block is placed.

I'm gonna admit I'm very freaked out. For myself and the players. If anyone has any "unplayed" map saves... keep them handy. :/

I have some of my builds around spawn but I haven't updated them in a while. If anyone has any from the past few days covering the west side of spawn around user2's farm that would be great as I had a build in progress over there.

Hopefully though everything will be back to how it was last Sunday and I won't lose all the work I did on my build last week...
