hey my friend wants privs for server name is gorawr on the server it keeps asking for the current stable version and the developer even though she answers correctly

1 person = 1 forum account = 1 minetest account with privs on Redcrab's server

its not my account, gorawr is a member on here she's my friend i told her about this server, she tried to post for privs and like i said it kept repeating the questions

Tell her to reset her browser cache, cookies and tempory memory, and then restart the browser.

It is a common problem

the protection thing, having to give a reason is ridiculous, the reason for any protection is to protect it from griefing obviously so plz make it so we dont have to give a reason anymore

If you are under constraint (more than 2 areas or would like larger areas), you still have to request protection on this forum.
meanwhile you have to motivate your request (why you need some much areas or so large area)
From now protection request on forum can be denied if it is not motivated with reason.

Request done but this is the last time when I protecting area without reason.

Just write: "I need space for my giant dog", "I want to build space ship in 1:1 scale", "I'd like to build Colosseum" or something like that.

It's no so hard, is it?

I would be surprised if this is granted.

You would have to have a good record, and have to "stand out" from the other old timers.

The reason Cactuz is a moderator is that he is:

1) Very involved in the server (he is on at least once a week).
2) Proved himself to Redcrab by helping in griefing clean up events, and building some pretty good structures

There is proberly more reasons, cactuz_pl is wellcome to expand on this.

- To empty a bucket somewhere on unprotected areas, you need "bucket" permission
- You can't empty or fill a bucket on an disallowed protected area.

Anyone with a good explanation for the spillings to be possible, assuming that authorized players didn't do it?

I guess that was because of mapgen bug, I don't think one of spawn area sub-owners would grief there.

Hmm, that means the mapgen error is still occuring now and then, instead of only once.

Well, the bug attacked my town yesterday, so it's not gone yet. It could be possible that the bug hit more than my town, including spawn with lava, like Neuro said.

For the second time, I ask for ''bucket'' privs. I need to use the bucket for mining safeties with sneak elevators, and for fountains/streams/a moat around the fortress.
