The same problem here.

The server is currently lagging a lot. You need to try to connect multiple times.

Edit: The problems are now solved, you should be able to login without problems.
If you lack the reality, go on a trip or find a job.

There was huge lag on the server yesterday, so actually no one could join.
Gabriel seems to have eliminated the lag source.

DO NOT LEAVE COBBLE GENERATORS UNATTENDED.

This can create thousands of entities and wreck the server.

This server is now postcardware. This means, if you like this server, please send me a postcard of your hometown to:

Server is currently down, due to my shitty wifi network causing so much package drop that the server had to resend so much packages that it triggered an anti-abuse mechanism. I hope I can resolve this soon.

EDIT: Server is up again.

It appears the server is acting up again. The last thing I saw was an error message from Lua ATC at -747,6,-377 and a postgresql shutting down due to admin command... Now the server looks up, but it's impossible to log in.

Server got updated due to apt-get update, then the pipeworks mod broke everything due to not liking the update. Server should work now, I can't test this rn, due to being in the famous wifi network that causes the server to send out a couple million packages per second.

bananach.space is currently unresponsive, I believe due to some sort of systemd bug on the sparc64 architecture. I hope I can send someone in to fix this tomorrow, since I'm very far away from the machine.

More gifs with historical map images from main cities and villages of the server since almost one year ago. White chunks were unexplored areas.

Most of them are down since the day all trains on the server were accidentally deleted. We just don't want to bring up the time to run them again, but instead wait for me to write the in-mod automation system. (Should be finished this year)

For removing rails and messing with switches. We have logs, so there's no point in denying anything.

You are also banned due to a lot of other stuff you did. The ban is final.

And, as a message to all the others who accidentally break rails or similar:
Please do not try to fix it yourself, you'll be making things worse.
Instead, notify a moderator, ideally gabriel or orwell, immediately.

Server will be down on 2018-09-05 from 10:40 to 12:40 UTC, due to the hosting provider having to reboot the vm host.

I think the lag problem is solved, I got a patch via PM to the luacontrollers, which makes them stop when they get unloaded. I still think we can do better, but this has been a great performance boost.

Wait, they DIDN'T stop on unloading before??? o_O I thought it was a given with all mesecons stuff that it stops working in unloaded map blocks.

digilines filter-injectors seem to work in unloaded map blocks. At least the uranium refineries continued working when unloaded.

With the initial subway plan largely implemented, it's a shame I don't have names for most of the stations...
