Update 2018-10-15

Mods
  • Updated xp_redo mod (hud can be toggled with /xp_hud)
  • Enabled mining drill
  • Added pvp_areas and locked down spawn-platform for pvp

In-Game highlights
  • Spawn-platform got new teleporter-stations (grouped by earth and orbital destinations)
  • Player Silver added a PvP-Arena with spawnable monsters (orbital teleporters -> PvP arena)
  • Plenty of new space-ship locators appeared on the radar (including flying bricks :)
  • Updated loot-crates (added minegeld and lava-orbs)
  • Loot-crates spawn in space too (they can serve as a build-starter too)

Hi,

I get a "502 Bad Gateway" on pandorabox.io website when trying to display the realtime map.

Yep: I disabled the highscore board and mapserver for now until the lag-issues (hoster-issue with storage) are resolved...

I'll write here if anything changes (I added the message on the website too)

Sorry for the inconvinience (did i write that right :) but in-game building has higher priority than map-server and highscore..

Question, how do you get the drawers and drawer upgrades that you can sell in the skymall? they dont seem to be in the crafting guide.

I'm sorry but they are not craftable anymore. We had too many bugs and glitches with them.
The skymall buys them at a good price to phase them out eventually.
The drawers use entities very excessively and fail most of the time to clean them up afterwards. It causes some weird item-flashes on mobile too. Some players even heard the drawer-sound from the far end of the world when someone at the other end opened it :)


I think i made a remark about that on the /news :D
Last resort if you really want them: buy them at a better price than the skymall from someone who still has them..

  • Switched backend storage to another system, lag seems to be gone now :)
  • Highscore board and map are online again

I did one once, a quite complicated one on jungle server.

But it could be quite simple :
A node breaker, a node detector (set on cotton_8 or wheat_8), a deployer.

the node detector makes the breaker taking the cotton/wheat once it is mature. The deployer continuously deploys seeds, so, when the plant has been harvested it is replanted.

I like letters mod very much. But I dislike the font. I'm often thinking about adding some changes in it. Tools used to create font textures in display modpack could be easily adapted to letters mod.

There are some ongoing issues with DNS resolution of the main domain (https://dnschecker.org/#A/pandorabox.io).
In the mean time just use the ip-address: 159.69.92.148 Port: 30'000

Hi BuckarooBanzay,

I got some issues with conducting tubes (from pipeworks). In vacuum, they drop (and they drop as unusal tube nodes). Other tubes, normal, teleporting, and sorting works well.

Thats caused by the following commit:
https://github.com/thomasrudin-mt/vacuu ... 24b1d1db02

It drops all nodes that belong to the "mesecon" group.
My idea was to make it a bit more realistic: Circuits not working in vacuum and such...
But i think i revert that and make it optional under a "hardcore" mode (not enabled by default)

I'll introduce it in the next server restart/maintenance in a few days...
