Thanks! I am having some trouble getting back on the server though, my password is being rejected. Since I am strictly copy&pasting it from a file to enter it since creation I am confident that it is the correct one. Is there anything that might've gone wrong there?

hello every1.
This is tux. For some reason i can not connect to your servers anymore.
(including irc chat)
  • I have tried both servers "pandorabox and pandorabox-test"
  • I have cleared cache
  • I have tried other servers and have been able to connect to them.
  • I have connect successfully with different connection.
The debug.txt is just saying

I was wondering if it might be that I need a id reset?

it might be that my ip is banned. If so how come?

yeah it is IPv6 and i also wrote to admin in /mail. I think i just have to wait for a response via /mail.

Server is currently down

There was a crash a few minutes ago

I'm taking the opportunity to migrate it to the new hardware... :)
It will take about half an hour...

The latest move to the new server had some very bad side-effects:
Looks like a "fast" HDD can't replace a simple SSD :(
The reading times are just not sufficient enough..

I'm moving it back in the next few hours, there will be an hour downtime again. i'll announce ingame too...

EDIT: currently down, moving the files...
EDIT2: done, should be up again, relatively lag-free :)

ja HDD 200, SSD 550 und M.2 SSD 2800 Tempo - da kann als HDD nur ein Raid gegen die normale SSD mit halten, also wohl mindestens 4 davon.

against the both direct bug / glitch using gamer I saw just in 2 days ("a" and "xercyst") , this might help:

Hey! I couldn't find bones because my client can't search the single nodes in such detail!

Players need an ingame electron microscope that would be able to divide the area of single node into bilions of small cubes ,-)

I'm not doing that again. Players get hurt by reading signs that way :/
If you want perfect privacy consider playing on a private server (sorry for being straight-forward...)

Well, try to wander on Moon - flying (or rather high jumping) xenomorphs will help you with that ,-) Although it can happens that a single mob jumps up so high that it fly away high enough to stops harassing you, they seems to appear in duos, and also in such frequency, that they will successfully be excellent assistants for this purpose.

Mod request: Illumination (there is in the built-in add-ons manager).
Tested in the local game (in 5.0.0), its works.
This mod is an implementation of held item illumination that produces a certain level of light depending on the luminescence of the player's held item.

Since it checks node definitions for light_source values, no configuration should be needed.

Also, the internal code has been fine-tuned to reduce the amount of visual bugs, mainly by being as thorough as possible when trying to find a suitable position to emit light from.

Maybe on it or not ... it is a slow steady process since I am on the server, slow not in a push, more like slow and steady every day a bit until now -
may as never stopped build new nodes causing this ...
and the servers lag is clear to see also in server-list - show clear the big difference to others already ... in slow!

edit/add morning of 11.10.

that's it ? "[cirvuit-breaker] mesecons are disabled for a minute due to abuse, please fix/optimize your circuits!"

so to make a think clear before we go ahead:
* mesesons are thous items/nodes I can find when I open inventory and type mesecons in the search field ? nothing else like a injector ?
* and mesecons are only activated at areas with world anchor or a gamer ? (within some 3 ? minute after leave game or area ?)

if yes, what do you think will happen now ?


I just remember the one gamer yesterday, asking why his blink's aren't working, as he is using them for decoration ...

after waiting for a reaction of a gamer online understood the problem with messecons and what he/her is causing with that misusing / abusing ... nobody answered,

then me "for this you should be kicked and banned" - hoping now some more better older gamer would explain to HIM/HER what about abusing mesecons

as about this guy using them as decoration:
JUST go into the database and manualy delete all mesecons or replace them with an special item,
and only those gamer and areas where they are really needed will be allowed to replace them again to blinky
so all the dead (by not gamer on anymore) will be deactivated then

I realized the willing of you to stop the mesecons problem, just by checking there afford and seam to disable them for a minute if too much,

and I had 3 questions to make sure we understand each other

and made one suggestion about how problem could be solved.

But you just ignore it or too lazy too read all ?

Should I try in German ?

The intention is clear:
I was promotion your server for my gamer to avoid for them the distance lag from about 220ms. So now it looks like they come back as the lag at you is worse then the ping at me. And I have too keep my server for them as I see some come back.
