There is a mod called non-laggy car, but I have not tested it. (viewtopic.php?t=13988).
Honestly, X-bows does no damage to mobs (I shot three dozen arrows and nothing happened).
The horses are uncontrollable, I almost went to the lava.
I will be glad if you add weapons, thank you very much :)

russian is visible? that's nice! there was definitely something wrong with some of the renderings before.

anyway, the mod upgrade is complete! we will continue testing to make sure everything works.

It's crashing within seconds of me signing in. I think it has to do with the mobs or booby traps inside of a sandstone pyramid.

Standing on the offending pyramid: (I have coordinates turned on so you can see where it is in the world)

Some distance away, where it won't crash anymore (probably because the chunk isn't loaded) and looking back toward the pyramid:

I had to crash the server a number of times to get way over here. :/

Lister I finished building the Quadrotilus. I think you've seen him already.

thanks for the report, guys! we already fixed one pyramid bug like this, and we can keep fixing them by deleting blocks. it really sucks it crashes so badly, we really wish we could figure out what fails and fix it. pyramids is a pretty simple mod, if we could fix it any way at all, like by disabling mobs there, it would be great.

workaround

like lusik says, just use a second or so you get post-login to move away from the affected area. after several server reboots you should be able to move far enough to unload that block.

todo

looks like there's an up2date fork, tsm_pyramids, we are looking into backwards compatibility right now. at any rate, looks like there are some 5.0-related issues, and they are fixable.

lusik, this is tremendous, i am really excited about these projects :D

by the way, the holiday season is upon us, and this means it's time to re-evaluate settings & mods. i will probably be on more often in december, doing housekeeping & trying to fix pyramids, among other things.

we replaced pyramids with tsm_pyramids and it fixed the crash in the place you reported. we tried nathan's simpler patch first, but it did not fix the issue. anyway, looks like we'll just have to test some more now :D
