Hi, all!

I'm MarkTraceur, and I'm slightly obsessive-compulsive. If you'd like to see the evidence of that, check out my server!

If you like the server's current construction and would like to join me in it, let me know on IRC (I'm marktraceur on freenode) and I'll grant you privileges!

EDIT: You should log in to the server and have a password before asking for privileges!
EDIT2: I'm running 0.31, so you should have a client of a similar version.
EDIT3: The server is now running the bleeding-edge latest dev version (from git), so you'll need at least a 0.4-like client to access it.

How do you generate the map PNG image? I would like to find out how to generate a map for my server. Tried the minetestmapper.py but it failed and I'm not overly familiar with python. If that is what you used, did you have to modify it any to make it work with 0.4?

Oh, sorry, the map is no longer current since I moved to 0.4. No one has ported it, yet.

I'm almost to winter break, I might tinker with it then I'll keep you posted.

how do you start a server. cant figur out even from the wiki

Once you've built the project, bin/minetestserver will start a server.

If you're on Windows, first download a GNU/Linux distro for your server.

What happened to all of the archive images?

bwog, they get deleted periodically, that's normal behavior. The problem is currently that the latest image isn't getting updated because minetestmapper isn't working for 0.4.

Did you follow all of those instructions? Did you fail to do so more than twice? If so, I'm not interested in having you around.
