Updated both servers to 1311.00, there's now over 200 node types and several old bugs have been fixed.

Both servers have now been updated to 1312.00, which adds the new snowcap biome, redesigned crafting, a bunch of bugfixes, an in-game craft guide, lavacooling, furniture, and (for the client) smooth lighting on nodeboxes and some meshgen tweaks.

Both servers have been updated to 1401.00, changes include:

Server:
Digging tree with an axe now yields 6 wood - just use a pick if you want the actual tree block.
Fire now drops ash, and there's an ash block.
Menche made apple trees grow apple blossoms and apples.
When digging apples, leaves grow back in their place - no more bare apple trees!
Also, locking furnaces and signs have been added - though furnaces are semi-public in that anyone can use them, but only the owner, and whoever placed the source item can take from them.
Multiple roof tiles added for the new rooflike drawtype.

Client:
Added particle effects as well as mipmaps and bilinear/trilinear/anisotropic filters.
Fixed models sharing lighting values and (finally) added 3d mobs.
Added sloped rails and a whole new drawtype: rooflike, so you can finally have neat sloped roofs.
While we're making things slope, diagonal walls and fences went in too.

It really does please me to see all the effort that is put into Minetest Classic. This fork really does have a character of its own.

If you want build privs on the main (30000) or creative (30002) servers, you need to join first so I can give them to you.

Or just play on the public (30001) server where everyone has build privs by default.
