I think that video was made at a time when the map on this server was...different. I had reset the map and brought-over some iconic buildings, then some while later restored the old map when the new map proved unpopular.
Either that or that video was taken of some ripoff of my server.
User is Lucien (actually using basic-plus at the moment but I see it'll get added to both).
Could I also get spill priv. I have enough glass for the moment and want to place some sand.

Could I also ask why you don't use illumination (https://content.minetest.net/packages/P ... umination/)? Does this create more lag than having torches/lights placed everywhere? Although, on reflection, it probably does allow more mob creation to happen at night.
I requested but wasn't granted access to your file (or didn't get any email confirming it). Perhaps you've marked it private or something? You can just attach your skin to a post in here.
As for illumination, walking lights tend to be laggy, as they have to repeatedly set and remove an actual node light source (usually textured to be invisible) as the player moves around, as the engine can't illuminate the world any other way (to my knowledge).

My kids complain about their tablets being too laggy with the home version and I've been playing with de/activating various mods so it's interesting to know about illumination. Maybe I'll turn it off and see how it goes.

I also notice a glitch.. bags I've been given or made do not seem to show up on unified inventory for me to use. Am I missing something? I can see a symbol just before the saw but it's not lit up.
Thanks, I have spill. I've checked back to UI and the grey out is trashcan. Am I missing something to get bags working? Do I need basic_privs or privs? Please.
