how about using Hot Cobble to craft a Super Furnace.
it's just like a regular Furnace, but with "super" in it.
and of course it works much faster ;)

+1 for super/faster furnaces :)

And what about crafting 9 hot cobbles into a super hot cobble block, then crafting an even faster super furnace with 8 super hot cobbles, and it cooked even faster than the super furnace.

Small technical matter: The server has been hanging and restarting rather frequently recently. It has happened at least three times today just after Makri logged in. Could Ten or Shinji check out what is happening at that pos and possibly move Makri back to spawn, so he/she can get to play? From experience I doubt Makri is doing anything wrong.

That new explosive sound effect can be heard globally.
It's a little disturbing.
Please can you check settings and that you haven't used a stereo audio file Ten. ;-)

the new explosion is the mob api using tnt mod's own tnt.boom() function... will look into it and check but I think it plays with a radius of 64 nodes (big boom).

I was 5000 nodes out and hearing the same explosions as people at spawn. The problem appears to have stopped since the weekend. :)

that suggests that one of the mods is providing a new TNT explosion sound that is stereo, not mono as it should be.
