It is very easy to get passwords for players who use short/weak passwords.

IIRC MT doesn't have any built-in login rate limiting, this would have to be implemented via a mod. Ergo, if the server is not well maintained, or not well watched, you probably can brute force those simple passwords before the operator takes notice in the logs. (And even do this from multiple IP's)

Also, if your password is on this list http://www.passwordrandom.com/most-popular-passwords, then your at risk: if your account is going to be brute forced, the script will try those passwords first.

Bank ATM pins are typically short to be easy to remember, but after 4-5 tries, the bank won't let any pin through, and you have to call them up to re-establish a new pin.

I am still unable to login, why am I seen as a new player?

Probably because of the player-files-rollback that needed to be applied because of problems.

If you been banned you should be getting the message "your account has been limited" but from what i understood youre getting the message "no new players are allowed" which means you werent banned..but game counts you as new player as phi explained

Xanadu has hidden in the unknown galaxy. Down from a few hour back.. Hope Shiji make it back soon... but in the mean time, this is the progress of my new build.

I .... heard talk of some hidden teleports ..... but I think they're just rumors ...

That's so sad no more players aren't allowed in this server, I understand it's for less lag, less cheater, less people to kick/remove-privs/ban but Xanadu is like one of the server with most building

Kommt darauf an, ob du vor dem Zurücksetzen der Spielerdateien (und danach) denn auch mal wieder online warst. Es gab nämlich erst danach eine Sperre für neue Nutzer, und da die nur für neue Spieler gilt, gilt das auch für diejenigen, die eben nach dem Zurücksetzen nicht mehr online waren. Aber ob das sonst jetzt möglich ist - ich weiß es nicht. Bezüglich dessen gab es immer wieder Probleme, und ich glaube es geht halt momentan nicht anders. Echt schade, ist aber so.

Yup that one is the build.... and yup.. the meteor got almost at the edge at the surrounding area of the build..

About hidden tp, i have seen 2 in spawn but idk if there are more.

looks like someone is doing a version that finally does the Taj Mahal justice. Now if only we had reflecting water in minetest, assuming you will also do the great garden ;-P

Was there a server reset? It's telling me i'm a new player but ive been on xanadu since spawn was basically four dirt roads? If not then can i get some help to re-enter, i wanna show people what i built.

did you type the correct spelling of your player name?
upper case and lower case does matter here =(>.<)=

Hey DNthahypebeast, your problem has come up many, many times before. Please check back to previous pages of this thread. The explanation has been posted many times as well. :)

I'm pretty sure of my spelling, is there a list of players i can check just to be sure though?

there was a player reset there about 3-4 months ago since i got back on my old account that might of caused it
