I'd say this is quite a nice mod! Not sure about the drills being able to dig to -100 in five seconds though...

I'll agree, yet again they are Rarium and above it seems... not to mention that it takes (Said) a long time to smelt the Rarium Crystals, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Not only that, it's also apparently INCREDIBLY deep underground! Which honestly makes it worth the effort in my opinion.

I personally think xtraores is just too powerful, maybe if all the abilities of all the tools/armor and the depth/rarity of the ores were a tad less extreme and OP, that it would be more enjoyable.
What is SCP-055 again? I forgot.

Why is cobalt so strong? Cobalt is approximately two-thirds the strength of iron. (Of course, bronze is also weaker than iron anyway, so this can be excusable.)

@ Chem871: Everything's super strong, and so therefore must be harder to get. This is a mod that is enjoyable in the very long run (especially with teleporters once you get down there.)

iron is a very strong meal in reality. Games really exclude that. Except terraria, because it's ore system is one of the most complete.

and what do you mean the crafting does not work?
it should work... just make sure you are using the correct recipe, for the item you are trying to make (would recomend using Unified_inventory, to get a crafting guide)

yep I am Abandoning Xtraores (probably never going to update it ever again)
It was a nice mod for the time, but I've came up with way better and more balanced ideas + got even more skilled at pixelarts... so I will just scrap Xtraores, and maybie one day... I might relase mod, that does not just mainly focus on ores... but completelly focuses the whole game, on exploring the undergrounds, for way more stuff than just ores...

cause I just thnk that Xtraores ain't worth being continued, and I should get a fresh start, and make something trully amazing...

no promises just yet... but you can hope for a mod, that will trully be a miner's dream!

The version that's up for download doesn't have the extractinator, or a bunch of other cool stuff.

If that's the reaction, to the fact I am abandoning Xtraores, don't worry...

In the next 1-3 weeks, My Way-Better-Replacement for
Xtraores, should be finished enough to be posted on forums...

And It will be way more balanaced, and after I post it, I'll keep updating the new mod eventually...

So you could almost take it like X.O update... BUT EVEN BETTER!

This mod is very awesome . But there's a problem . Do u rely think thata player would be able to get all these only in survival ?? Here most players can't get mese without a server with travelnet mod . These blocks are very cool for building .
Can u tell me the hight where each ore and block spawns pls ?

Doubt any server had more than 500 accounts in it, and the world is has and area of 62000x62000

it's unlikelly that people would drain every single diamond deposit, all the way to -3000 ...

aspecially that less than only like 20% of all accounts logged into the server, are actually good at minetest...

So...

Since this mod was loved by a lot of people... I decided, I will make a remake version of this mod, and start working on it, rather than the onld one...

the new version is more balanced and has better textures:

*There will never be a weapon that deals over 50 DMG
*Only ore-related stuff will be added to this mod
*There will never be armors with over 95% protection, and too-extreme jump and gravity powers
*Better tools will require better handles, rather than just sticks
*Guns are harder to craft
*Items come with info-descriptions
*The better is the ore, the longer it will take to smelt and that applies to all Xtraores ores
*range of the spears won't be too OP, and they are slower than swords, and are only accessable with level 5 ores and above
*there' no ore lumps. The ore block drops itself, but looks like a lump, and that means, you can place down ores after mining them, to build a ore showcase or so.

so if ppl want just 1 mod they can, but if they want em all they go to your modpack!

Those aren't supposed to be user together...

Xtraores - for those who just want some more ores

Minerdream - for those who want as much stuff related to mining, as they could possibly get with a single mod... (And and the ones it depends on of course)

And those 2 would kinda overlap and conflict with each other


And extra Mele weapons don't have anything to do with those as well... In fact, it's more of a mod for those, who preffer using default materials to craft weapons, rather than having and weaponising a lot of different ores...


And as for ranged weapons ... I think I should rework it a bit at first... And I still don't think it should go into a mod pack along with minerdream, as it kinda requires more ores, and more ores is not supposed to he used along with minerdream
