where is the vector_extras mod? viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8533 has no link to it...

Has it been integrated into another mod? I don't know where it went. Is it just unnecessary with the new version of minetest?

There is now a conductor signal changer, and the "normal" signal changer has an inverted output !

It would be nice to have item droppers in minetest,
and I made you a texture for the wireless.

EDIT: I made some textures for the player killer.

The wireless texture is now replaced by yours (which is absolutely better than the old texture!). Thank you for the new player killer texture, but I don't really like it, sorry ;) Obviously, you can propose another texture !

For the item droppers, take a look at Pipeworks !

Just a note for server administrators about the player killer.

The player killer may be subject to abuse. I don't load the moremesecons_playerkiller mod on my server anymore, after a player used it abusively.
So, server administrator, you may not load the moremesecons_playerkiller mod too: choice is yours. Remember, MoreMesecons is a modpack and you can easily disable or enable a part.

A new node has been added: the LuaBlock!

The LuaBlock is an admin item which can execute any Lua code in the global namespace when turned on. Placing it and changing its code requires the server privilege. Of course, it is uncraftable.

Hi,
i try to use this mod in my Minetest singleplayer installation. But i was unable to load any world, also a new world. The error is:

I have done also a new installation of Minetest 0.4.15, first 64bit but also 32bit (i have windows 10) only with this mods: mesecons, moremesecons and vector_extras... but doesn't work, also a new world never used. I put all folders in the mod folder, all 3 mod folder have correct name as reported on post in this Forum. I try also with Minetest 0.4.14 at 32 bit, the game installation i use everyday. Doesn't work.
I try also to disactive moremesecons_wireless, but the problem affect moremesecons_teleporter and so on.

Can you help me to make this mod to work?

Thanks for reporting this problem. This is because the mod uses API functions that only exist in Minetest 0.4.15-dev (and will be available in 0.4.16-stable). Fortunately, this should only affect the wireless, the teleporter and the jammer, so you can disable them until I add support for 0.4.15-stable (I'll try to do it this evening :-) )

@Pigrizio: The latest stable isn't new enough. The mod storage has bee added somewhen in a dev version.

@Palige: Maybe add a tag/release to the newest version when 0.4.16 is released.

Done! Latest MoreMesecons should now work with Minetest 0.4.15-stable. It checks if the mod storage API exists, and if it doesn't, it forces the registration of LBMs (without taking care of the moremesecons.[wireless,teleporter,jammer].enable_lbm settings). These LBMs automatically register wireless, teleporters and jammers when their chunk gets loaded (that is not necessary when the mod storage can be used, because all wireless/teleporters/jammers informations are stored in the mod storage, so they can be recovered as soon as the mod loads).
I will probably remove this check when Minetest 0.4.16-stable will be released.

Yeah I agree, and I would prefer to make a new texture containing the logo rather than using the logo as texture. I think I'll change it soon

Can the script for the adjustable player detector be modified to trigger if more than 'x' number of players is detected?

Edit: Nevermind, I think a separate mod would be better.

ratmix, the player programmable maidroid should be able to find all objects within a radius of at max 100 m and test which ones are players and after that send the results using some digiline interface. (not implemented yet)

That's because players usually can't look further than 100 nodes due to lag and the maidroid's abilities should be limited. Though, players with server privilege could give maidroids an additional instruction set which allows setting mese at any place in the world etc. (note that players may find a way to hack them)
