THE CONIFERS MOD

Tired of the same trees?

Get this mod to put new conifers on your map!
Includes two types of tree with two sorts of leaves to make your landscape more diversified.

You can also configure the conifer generation in the first lines of conifers/init.lua such as:

Min/max height of the conifer
Leaves height
Leaves radius
Distance between each conifers
Altitude of spawn (by default: 30 m)
Remove normal trees
Chance to grow a sapling
Intervale of time for each generation

What can you do with that?

Planks
Just cut some trunks (or reversed trunks) then craft them!

Reverse your trunks...
Reverse your trunks by putting two of them in your craft table!

...and put them back right again!
Put them right like before!

By the way, cut some leaves to get some saplings and grow your own conifers!

These things are very common where I live, it would be cool th have them in minetest

One thing: Should they spawn automatically, right? Because I can't find any... (I generated a new world). I have to /giveme saplings and plant them...

What are the things that don't work yet?

What kind of recipes would you make with pine nuts, and pine cones?

Well, you could eat pine nuts, and maybe cook this with them:

We call them "panellets", in catalan, and they are made in autumn, around Halloween, lol.
Hey, I just found there is a page in the English wikipedia (apart from the one in catalan) for them:

EDIT: Just a note, for the ones who read the wikipedia page ^^: In catalan, "little bread" is actually "panet", not "panellet". "Panellet" has the same root, but it lost it's meaning of "little bread", to be just that thing in the picture
EDIT2: I think that if I want panellets for minetest I'll have to make the mod myself xD

I will use this mod on this server and there should be a wood mod like on the INFINITY server where you can cut down jungle trees and they turn into regular wooden planks.

True, jungle trees are almost useless at the moment since you can make coal with it.

Hi! Yes it normally works with every 0.4.x. If it doesn't, post here which version do you use, OS and I will take a look.
