[Mod] Red Earth 1.0.1 [redearth]

Technically... This isn't a mod, but a modpack of mods I made myself.
Red Earth desert stone everywhere underground

These mods changes stone to desert stone (redearth-core), make desert stone ores (redearth-ores), and makes it possible to make cobblestone from desert cobblestone (redearth-extra).
Does not work outside Minetest Game!
Testers wanted! I don't have the time to wander around in caves! ;-;
Should work on any mapgen that uses stone.
Cobble recipe, shapeless: 2x Desert Cobblestone -> 2x Cobblestone

I see that you are continuing on your pursuit of the colour red in mapgen ; ).

What method are you using to change the nodes though?
I'm wondering why this wouldn't work on mapgen v6, as there are ways with no mapgen dependence to do this.

Redefining ALL the biomes with stone ;-; I've tried to realias mapgen_stone to default:desert_stone but I figured it would bring unexpected consequences, like making the stones of a predefined schematic desert ones. v6 is so stubborn, that neither realiasing nor redefining biomes work.
And not just red though, I'm looking to bring orange (colour) trees and cherry blossoms with my redtrees mod.

If you want a compatible backup method of doing this, you could change the stone and ores with minetest.register_on_generated(), similar to what Pilzadam does in his nether mod : https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?t=5790.

This would be slower than what you are currently doing, but should work on all mapgens.

Looking forward to cherry trees (* ^ ⌄ ^ *)

Bump. Got to 1.0;
made redearth_core hard depend on redearth_ores; and changed completely the stone -> desertstone replacing engine.
Now to make pink japanese cherry trees!
