I'm having trouble reproducing your error. There has been an update to simplify food digestion and if that doesn't help I will push an addition to address nil bowel level values in add_bowel_level.

I'm actaully surprised that this mod made it into the Mod Releases section and the drugs mod was rejected because it was "innapproriate"

Could you enhance the app to allow it to be used compatibly by the bonemeal app, so that one could collect poop and turn it directly/combine with leaves into the green (strongest) fertilizer? I would also love to see the app have a built in timer for poop, such that after a set time, the poop automatically turns into an action of applied fertilizer (green bonemeal) where it dropped. This way it gives time to follow animals or people to collect poop, and if the user doesn't choose to collect it in time, then you see evidence of the poop trail. This would be fun and there would be random and obvious areas with many flowers and plants, making it embarrassing or use as a breadcrumb during tracking, showing that someone was there, or doesn't clean up after themselves ;). Love the poop idea, but this integration would definitely top it off!

If you check the git repo, it has been some considerable time since I made any changes. Before I add anything, I will first want to check that this is still working and compatible with current 5.x family Minetest releases.

I finally got around to updating Pooper. It now uses radiant_damage since the raycasting approach used in that library can simulate non-penetrative materials through which the stench does not pass. It also improves performance by avoiding ABMs.
Also it removes code which I adapted (or stole) from a landmines mod. IIRC this may have caused some blowup back in 2016 which might have prompted a community member to leave citing people shamelessly stealing mod code.
Anyway, the parameters are now configurable through standardized settingtypes. For future updates I am contemplating moving digestion away from server ticks and solely tying it to eaten food. If you don't eat, you don't poop, right?

Ok, so I love your mod, but it is lacking one thing, the ability for an admin to give the laxative effect to another player and specify the duration of this effect in seconds. Please add this. Thank you.
