Not having a clear license will affect whether or not other developers include your mod with their own projects. If you don't care how the code is used, adding a note that it is WTFPL or CC0 licensed is fine. I personally prefer the simple & liberal MIT license, as it also includes a liability waiver (CC0 does the same).
