Can you give me an exact copy&paste (or screenshot) of the errors you are getting? Look for lines that say "ERROR:" in minetestfolder/debug.txt.

Rename the folder homedecor, and it should work.

Self compiled or pre-build.

Is there a way to make it so that the sounds made by doors and gates vary in volume depending on how far away a player is from the source? Default sound effects are able to do this, but can mods have this capability too?

They're supposed to do that already, but for some reason the engine just isn't doing it properly, or something else is needed in the sound definitions, but the API isn't being clear about exactly what.

Thats simple :P the sounds need to be in mono. I don't think minetest can handle stereo sounds.

Good 3d home decor sample. No doubt everyone wants to increase their house decoration because the house is most important part of a person's personality. There are many other online site which provide very beautiful and excellent designs,3d is very useful software for this purpose before constructing a house you should get your house map and structure by3d software...

Looks nice (apart from the too minimalistic texture). Especially the chair ought to be added.

Sokomine, the default game is too noisy for me. :)

What is it that you mean by that statement, Jordach?

As in the different pixels in different shades.

Update 2013-05-07: Since the engine's "out of indicies" bug has been fixed, I've merged the slopes branch back into master (with minor recipe changes - see the crafting guide).

The slopes are pretty, but they must be used modestly. Even looking at one or two of them up-close can cause a reduction in frame-rate. I think it has to do with the large number of polygons in them. If servers use this, an option to change the number of nodes used would be a wise addition (this could also be done for the round brass poles, just in case.)

I don't see the recipe for the microwave in the wiki. Could you tell us what it is? It sounds like a useful and decorative cooking device.

Actually I completely forgot about the microwave :-) The recipe is:

{"default:steel_ingot", "default:steel_ingot", "default:steel_ingot", },
{"default:steel_ingot", "moreblocks:ironglass", "mesecons_materials:silicon", },
{"default:steel_ingot", "moreores:copper_ingot", "default:mese_crystal", },

(Yields 2)

Updated the crafting guide accordingly.

As for the slopes, there is an option in the code to tune the detail, but you have to tweak the nodebox formulas slightly too, to keep them properly vertically aligned.

I tried to take screenshot but I don't know where or if I have one. I do not have debug.txt file because I tried to find it.

The debug.txt should be in the same folder as your minetest config.

The debug.txt file gets created in the game's "Current Working Directory". That is, whatever the "Start in" field in the shortcut says (if you created one), or in minetestfolder/bin/ if you double-clicked the executable.

No luck finding it anywhere.

Try running minetest from a terminal (command prompt) and copy&paste the "ERROR" lines that are given when it exits.

I think the debug.txt is disabled for him, as the latest settings allow disabling of it.
