At present they aren't useful. My intent is to turn them into a large bedroom dresser, but I still haven't written the code for that yet. I think I left a valid crafting recipe in there though - should be three rows of {wood, drawer, wood} but you can't place the resulting item yet.
I'll finish that up eventually.
For now though, you can use it as fuel (so at least all you lose is a steel ingot).

Another update today: Television is now animated. Currently flips between 8 different images, each displays for 10 seconds by default.

Or the idea of it does anyway. This one uses a different method to flip through the "channels". :-)

This is a very cool mod! We made a whole city on a server more modern with it! Is it possible to make "Yellow Glowlight (thin)" wallmounted? It would be cool if we could place it on a wall!

Added the requested wall-mounted lights - place a ceiling mounted one (any of the four) into the grid to get the wall-mounted version.

Hey Vanessa, your mod is amazing! But have you thought about adding a plain door, with no window on it, for rooms in homes? That would be nice.
If you're interested, here are some screenshots of my Redcrab's server's medieval town: http://ade96.imgur.com/ (Updated 8th of December)

Thanks for the complements guys :-)

Ah, okay. I just find it very hard to place blocks on the other side of the pole when putting up a flag. But, if nothing is a challenge, why even play the game?
Good point. I'll continue invading the Northern lands of Redcrab's server

Hmm, how about chandelier blocks, that emit light? And 1/4th chandelier blocks for making chandeliers in 2x2 spaces...and chains for them too
That would be awesome, and we would be able to make a better chandelier than one made with fence-posts and torches.

There are already 1/8-size (as in 2x2x2 of them would fit in a node if they could be combined) bottom- and top-mounted glow cubes in yellow and white which, when combined with brass railings, make a nice chandelier.

Thx for your work VanessaE. Ich have an idea/wish. Can you make a grass block with grass around the whole block? Maybe you can use the default grafic. The problem is, grass disappear sometimes - because a bug or lava or water or or or. And if i would build a hill of grass, i must see the dirt at the sides. What do you mean?
(Grass Block = Dirt + Leaves)?

I could do that, but moreblocks (http://minetest.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=509) already has such a thing. Also, there's at least one other mod, Building Blocks (http://minetest.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=674) which has something similar.

Oh ok, i see. But the block at moreblocks has grass only on the top and 1 mese for 1 block is ... expensive
Edit. And the grass of the moreblocks mod is destructible
