Exchange Shop


This post is more or less a converted copy of the README.md file.

This mod adds an improved ("currency" compatible) shop to your world. It sounds like "Yet another shop mod" but the main intend is to literally replace the currency shop node when it exists in your world. The conversion happens "on the fly" by default, like when placing a new shop or right-clicking an existing one.

  • 4 buyer and 4 seller slots
  • Much storage capacity
  • Custom shop title settable
  • pipeworks compatibilty

Optional dependencies
  • currency
  • bitchange
  • wrench (from the technic modpack)

Tested on: 0.4.17.1, 5.0.0-dev (fresh baked)

To sell complete sets of armor, I have set up some shops
that need all 6 slots of the 'standard' exchange shop,

What would happen to such an existing shop,
if this mod gets installed ?

This case is already expected to happen. The "Owner wants" slot contents are moved to the Income stock and "Owner gives" into the Outgoing stock. Because those stocks were enlarged, there will always be enough space to hold additional 6 different item stacks.
The shop will shorthand become unusable because there's nothing configured to sell or buy. Armor is one of the rare situations where all 6 slots are used to trade.
