[Mod] hang-gliders [hangglider]

Should the glider controls change to be like elytra, or keep the paraglider mod's?

Yeah! What about combining it with a noise pattern defining windy spots in the world that can cause the glider to be given an extra push? That may bring som extra challenges to using the glider.

Oh, that would be great. But first of all it probably could be used to change player's velocity at the moment of wielding the hang-glider. It should be faster than the regular walking speed. However keep in mind that Piezo apparently isn't maintaining it anymore.

I start to wonder about that as well (for obvious reasons). ;-)

I know I said this a year and a half ago, but I STILL love this mod! Instead of just using it when I'm out and about, I designed my base to use it. I had to back up a bit to get the entire thing in the image because it is so big. I use the tpad mod to teleport to different rooms. The basement is entirely underground, so it's like 6 nodes taller than it looks. Just a TV room, but I'm going to make more underground rooms. Let me be the first to say my base is nothing special compared to anyone else's! You guys likely know WAY more about building than I do. I tried to upload the images here, but I just got an HTTP error. That's why I'm just posting links:

This mod is awesome. The fastest way of transport I get until now.

My local work
  • remove deprecated calls warning
  • remove global variable accessed warnings
You may cherry pick commits:
  • latest commit about your minetest_systemd mod may not be valid
  • you may not plan on removing depends.txt
