[Mod] Morelights [morelights]
Morelights
Is your world feeling dark lately? Luckily, it doesn't have to!
The Morelights modpack adds over 30 lighting and accessory nodes to suit various styles of builds, both interior and exterior. Includes basic light blocks, modern and historical-style lighting, and customizable street lamps. Some nodes (ceiling lights, bar lights, poles) can be rotated to serve different purposes.
The modpack is lightweight, with only about 60 kB of media, including 3D models.
Morelights currently supports Minetest Game, MineClone 2, and Hades Revisited. I might add other games in the future, if I have time.
A file with all the current craft recipes can be found at the GitHub repository.
If you decide to use this on your public server, please let me know! :-)

The hanging lights are a nice treat as are the street lamps. I'll absolutely be using several of these. Sweetness!

It looks as if it would work very well alongside xdecor as well which only has a handful of specialty lights at present.

Awesome mod, i installed it on my server and love it :)
One small issue: brass ingots should be taken from basic_materials if available.

Update!
Morelights v1.1.0 has been released, after me abandoning this mod for two years. :)
It now supports MineClone 2 (in addition to Minetest Game). I also changed some craft recipes, added some inventory images, and generally cleaned up and modernized everything.
Edit: I messed something up, v1.1.1 is now out.

If you could make the Grass Light able to grow things which grow on normal grass when you plant them on it, that would be worth something. It would need to give off more light in order to make them grow.
I am not able to place the stair light -- neither on stairs nor on a flat surface. Perhaps I don't know how it should be used.

Being able to grow things on grass lights is a sensible idea, but I'm reluctant to change the light level and potentially disturb existing builds. Plants don't usually grow with light from underneath anyway. I might add soil groups to the node so at least plants could grow on it in daylight.
Which mods change the naming conventions of stairs? Maybe I could add support for them. I don't really want to remove the checks altogether, since the lights are hard to find if they're placed on the wrong node.

Or a Dirt Light able to grow anything dirt does. If it could be made farming soil, as is done with a hoe, even better.

Released v1.1.2. Grass lights can now grow stuff, media files are a little smaller, and MT version 5.4.0 or higher is now required.

Released v1.2.0. Morelights now supports Hades Revisited, thanks to sfence's pull request! Also, the Vintage Oil Lamp recipe now uses string instead of cotton.
