Escaping from an enclosing site is a Minetest Engine bug previous 5.3. If you uses v5.3 the bug should not arise.
But I am using v5.3.0. :(

WelI, I will check these flying mobs. Maybe I have to disable for them the suffocation check that makes the mobs arise to the earth surface trespassing nodes.

Thank you. Just so you know, it's not all of the flying mobs that are escaping. The parrot and toucan are staying in the aviary I built. It's only your queen bee, bat and butterfly that I'm having trouble with.

Here are pictures of the exhibits:

Image

Aviary from the inside. Trees inside and enclosed with steel bars with a steel tap door roof. The birds were staying inside before the trees were planted, by the way.

Image

Butterfly exhibit with Blert2112's and AspireMint's butterflies in it. (I'd rather have yours.) Enclosed with silver sandstone, obsidian glass, an obsidian glass door and a mese light. The floor is grass.

Image

Bee exhibit with TenPlus's bees. (Again, I'd rather have yours.) It's much the same as the butterfly exhibit. I cannot figure out where I got that honeycomb block, but I know the hive is from Mobs_Redo.

PS: Did I mention the moth escapes, too?

Yes, confirmed, those mobs escaped via the roof. Fixed.

Thanks Runs, but I was able to get it from the CD. :) And thanks again for fixing those animals. Problem solved. My zoo looks so much better now. :) My only problem is that the bats seem to be too photosensitive. The only light source that doesn't kill them is the firefly, but that's okay because they fit well in my nocturnal house. Thanks a third time for this wonderful mod!!!!

Bunny jumping. It is defined by a node not defined.

To fix it change the line 4 of "bh_herbibore.lua" to:

Code: Select all

if not(minetest.registered_nodes[node_name]) or minetest.registered_nodes[node_name]["liquidtype"] == "source" or

I have added preys from other mods to user conf. Do I have to add flamingo as a prey to the user conf after you add flamingo?

Probably yes, flamingo has not natural predators (adults) as I know to reach.
