/players would be better than /list
Also, there is already a MOTD. In the conf, it displays

Or /who for a list of players. Also great would be something like /finger or /whois to show when a player registered and when he was last online. And a list of all players who are known to the server would be helpful as well. Plus a way to send short messages to offline players which will be displayed to them when they log in again. Minetest doesn't have much to offer as far as the chat is concerned. Your mod is helpful. But it ought to be extended.

Suggestion: sethealth, requires "give" privilege.
Usage: /sethealth <player> <amount of health in half hearts>
Also, you should add aliases for /msg (/m), /reply (/r) and list (/l).
[EDIT] Is it possible to add a command without adding it to the /help command list?

I would like to firstly thank you all for the feedback, but there are some points I want to make:rubenwardy wrote:/players would be better than /list
Also, there is already a MOTD. In the conf, it displays
1.
For those saying that they want diffrent names look here in the conf file: https://github.com/TheRedMood/redsand/b ... r/conf.lua. Line 26 to 29. Those are the commands just change the mto your liking.
2.
I did not know the MOTD thingy, I have never seen it in my games, but I will check it out I will say that to a greater extent my is a bit more configurable since it can be formatted with string.format.
3.
I am currently planning a mail system Sokomine I am not so good with file IO so i will have to read up on that (never used lua before). Once that is down I will also add both of your other functions. Could you do me a favor and add them to the github page over issues?
Thanks for all the feedback so far

This should be possible yeah, by setting the privliges to a higher level. That way it woulden't show up in the help command.Calinou wrote:Suggestion: sethealth, requires "give" privilege.

I am not sure if that is the answer you where looking for, but I have only been using Lua for a few days and minetest is kind of a test run for me. I will start working on the request right now
